ok, my new guitar has a little fret buzz, and i was wondering, can i get rid of it with a fret fiall? or should i just wait a little while and get it done at guitar center.

If it doesnt buzz any higher than 5th, than it means that it's probably your 6th fret that is high. You COULD take a file to this fret to try and solve the issue, but you would most likely mess up the crown (if your not using a specially designed crowning file), or file too low (and make the 6th fret position buzz horribly).
The best thing to do would be to adjust your neck bow a bit (give it a bit more bow)

You can do this with all but the cheesiest guitars, set neck or bolt on. You have to tighten the truss rod. Do a google for it. If you are not comfortable doing this, take it to a pro. They will make your guitar sound fantastic.
