Proto: *By now Orias and Kaiori were long gone from where Proto was. Proto had removed all of the ammunition from from his rocket launcer except for one shell. Having accomplished this, Proto once again went airborne above the church remains. After ascending about 10 meters upwards, Proto aimed his last shot down towards the ruins, carefully. Proto had placed five other shells strategically around the rubble. With one well placed shot, Proto could blow out the rubble all at once. Picking the most accurate location his sensors could detect, Proto pulled on the trigger and launched his final shot. The shell struck one part of the rubble and exploded in a high heat wave. The explosion and resulting heat triggered the other five charges in a circular chain. The rubble would be blown outward from the church, sending a plume of dust and debris up into the air. Proto turned his side towards the wreckage and blocked any that came his way with the shield. Another minute passed before the debris cleared and Proto was on the ground. He was now face to face with a large creature's head. The thing was obviously dead, for how long Proto didn't know. However, he knew what he was looking for. Tossing the empty weapon to his side, Proto used his shield and free arm to pull apart the jaws of the massive creature. After pushing the mouth open another meter, Proto was able to see inside, and find Than's unconscious body*...... *His sensors told him that Than's vitals were still active and stable..... but slowly fading. Not wasting time, Proto discarded the shield and moved to pick up Than*

*Another minute passes before Proto is seen flying through the sky with Thanatos in his arms*

*Without warning, 4 consecutive tremors, enough to suffice for a small earth quake, would rock the surrounding area. Each of these tremors would be ten seconds apart. Twenty seconds after tha last tremor, a fifth, more powerful tremor would be felt. If one looked to the sky, they would see 5 balls of fire rising higher and higher into the sky, over in the direction of the citadel's surrounding mountains*

Hathus had been nothing but a desolate grave since the incident which swept it more than half a year ago. The exact events which had taken place before its destruction were known only to about a dozen people. The scar that this town now represented, however, would mean much more in the coming time. A single trail of footsteps and a single red rose in the center of the town were the only things to tell that this town had not been forgotten: someone intended to avenge it and all the other once lively towns which had been massacred by a feud between several warring factions.

A great long walk the traveler had taken from a ruined town called Enid to this place...a ghost town. The tall man curled his lips into a sneer showing his two frontal elongated teeth. What normal people would call fangs of some sort. While his were not grossly long like that of a vampire they were very abnormal and quite easy to spot when he smiled.

"From one ruined grave town to another... Have we walked into the end of this world? Or did some force that is still out there decimate these two places...We will have to meet that force if that is so..and destroy it. Our slate here is clean..but still. We will share no rival here."

The tall man said to himself standing at the edge of Hathus watching the wind move the dirt and ground. He shook his head in thought. Only wishing that it had been him who did this. His want for some living thing..his want for the destruction of that living thing increased with the sight of two ruinated places.

"Woe upon the next thing besides ourselves that we find alive...for we have already agreed that it shall end like these two piles of dust...dead and gone"

He said with a great rippling laughter that split the desolate air causing his great booming voice to carry for miles around him. The figure kept advancing trudging now through this place to the next location that he hoped....would have something to taunt. Something to torment. Something to kill...

*Lily stands in the rubble of Hathus. Her golden curls sway with the wind, her golden eyes are calculating. Her dazzling gold dress ripples with her every movement. She licks her bronze tanned lips. Where her crazy doctor of a husband had gone was anyone's guess, for now the golden goddess of a creature stays perched here like a statue.*
