So... I checked out Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse from the library and started reading it. I had a study hall, and I was flipping through to see if I could reach the next section by the time study hall was over and I had to stop. What do I see when I reach page 76 and 77? Notes? Doodles? A page falling out? No, I see bright reddish pink glittery lips! Someone had kissed page 76 of the book while wearing an excessive amount of lip gloss! Why? Why kiss my beautiful book? I just read those two pages, and I see no reason anyone would want to kiss it...
So yeah... basically... strange things to do with library books? Good books? Why someone would want to make out with page 76?

i like Hesse, especially Siddhartha and The Journey To The East.
i didn't understand Magister Ludi, maybe it was too philosophical or something.
and Narcissus and Goldmund seems heavily allegorical.
but he's cool, an angsty young man all his life...
