Order of Inquisition: A group bankrolled by the Catholic Church under the jurisdiction of the traditional Inquisition. Their purpose is the more aggressive side of protecting the faith.
Whitecoat, Bluecoat, Blackcoat: The three sections of the Order. Command/Logistics (White), Defense/Offense (Blue), and Medical/Research (Black).
Originator: The very first vampire born, also called the 'Mother.' Sister Anna (see Characters).
Lost Children: Vampires found by the Church at birth/as children and adopted to the Church. Usually referred to as the 'good' vampires.

SPOILER NOTES
If you're actually following the story, don't read these xd
- 'Hans,' leader of the Order. German grad student/genetisist, blood expermiments looking for a cure to AIDS. No one in his test group seemed affected, but Anna was born from one of his female testers. Can only be born a vampire, cannot get bitten or 'sired.' The vampire gene is an STD like AIDS, and only carried through parents. All children they have will be born vampires. Parents are not necessarily vampires, unless they were born that way.
-Hans joins church after birth of Anna, 'traumatized,' eventually gets high enough to found the Order.
- Vampires can't get AIDS
- Global acceptance like with AIDS, possible cure for AIDS in their blood
- Criminal offense to deny a vamp food
- Hans creates substitute for blood that looks like milk, easy to distribute to the mass population and fairly cheap to produce.
- Rialte attacks Deissis
- Limo in the fog
