I love, I mean, LOVE theatre. I'm planning on going to BYU-Idaho, and so soon I'm going to have to audition for a Theatre Department scholarship. The problem is that in my small town it's hard to find people who share my love of clean theatre. There are plenty who appreciate theatre, they just like it to be about sex, drugs, and rock n' roll.

Anywho, is there anyone out there who can help direct me to a good, clean dramtic monologue? Anybody know where to find a good LDS one, maybe? I can't ask my coach, because she doesn't believe in censorship, and she believes that inappropriate content is good to expose people to, because she feels it lets people get to know tough social issues better. The other kids in drama are pretty much the same.

Why not use a Shakespearean monologue? There are plenty of clean ones from him. If not something that old, allow me to redirect you to

There may be someone there who might be able to help more than me. I'm not big on monologues... just the bigger productions, and one-acts. *shrug* sorry.
