   Shion UzukiGENDER: female HEIGHT: 163 cm (5'4") WEIGHT: 48 KG (106 lbs) BORN: T.C. 4745 AGE: 22 years old From the official player's manual: Chief Engineer of the KOS-MOS Project General Operation System research Center, Vector Industries First R&D Division.
When the story opens, she is assigned on a twofold mission: to assist in the investigation of a planetary disappearance which is somehow related to the "Zohar Project" --a plan developed jointly between the government and private industry--and to test KOS-MOS. DATABASE:Shion Uzuki was assigned to Vector Industries' First R&D Division at the young age of 18 in T.C. 4763. Although two years younger than Allen, Shion is his senior in the corporate hierachy of Vector. Her youth, keen intellect and good looks make her a popular person in the company. She has a bright, cheerful personality and is ever the optimist, perhaps to hide the scars of losing both her parents as a child and her boyfriend two years ago. She does not get along with her brother, Jin Uzuki, who is 13 years older than her. Shion ends up being swept, along with KOS-MOS and the very company she works for, into a conspiracy concerning the very fate of mankind itself. Although she appears clumsy at times she is actually rather athletic, her high kicks are powerful enough to render a grown man unconscious. She apparently also wield a jujitsu-like technique passed on from her grandfather, but unfortunately this skill does not appear in Episode 1. CHARACTER SKETCHES:

   KOS-MOSGENDER: female HEIGHT: 167 cm (5'6") WEIGHT: 92 KG (203 lbs) AGE: looks about 18 years old From the official player's manual: A female, armored battle android developed by the interstellar conglomerate, Vector Industries. She is comprised entirely of mechanical parts, a rarity in an age of advanced realian technology. "KOS-MOS" is not her personal name, but rather the name of the complete battle system designed to combat Gnosis. DATABASEThe basic tenet to which she adheres to is based on logic, propability, and completion of her mission above all else. She also unconditionally protects Shion, her creator. She is equipped with a "simulated personality OS" to aid in communication, and though her polite speech conveys her role as an android in service to humans, her tendency to put logic and probability first makes her quite difficult to manage at times. Shion often argues that KOS-MOS is able to feel, but whether or not this is possible is left up to interpretation. The name KOS-MOS is a general acronym to denote an anti-gnosis tactic system. It stands for "Kosmos Obey Strategic Multiple Operation Systems" The "black box" area which was imported from Shion's mentor (and boyfriend), Kevin Winnicot's original KOS-MOS serves as a source of mystery in KOS-MOS's nature. KOS-MOS may pull off what looks like a miracle thanks to what is hidden there. However, it was also Kevin's KOS-MOS that murdered him. CHARACTER SKETCHES

  ZiggyGENDER: male HEIGHT: 191 cm (6'3") BORN: T.C 4637 AGE: 98 years since body recycling (looks 30) From the official player's manual: A combat cyborg assigned to the task of recovering and protecting MOMO, the prototype 100-series Observational Realian.
Instead of embracing the fact that he was once human, Ziggy is constantly tuning his body, eliminating his organic parts in order to erase his own existence and reduce himself from a "person" to a mere "object."
DATABASEUpon his death in T.C. 4667 at the age of 30, his body was donated to science, and 2 years later he was reborn as a combat cyborg. The last rank he held was captain of the 1875th special Operations Command detachment of the Federal police Bureau. He is currently appropriated to the S.O.C.E according to federation law, upon death an individuals body is designated as "public property", thus they are no longer able to control their own fates. Perhaps this is why Ziggy considers himself simply equipment owned by the S.O.C.E His thinking is in direct contrast to MOMO, who longs to be human. Ziggy constantly strives to turn himself completely into a machine through tune-ups that eliminate his human parts, piece by piece. However, his interaction with MOMO may soon change his outlook on this unwanted second life. His looks belie his extremely old age, and his advice gained from years of experience is both practical and precise. He tries to think as a machine does, but unlike KOS-MOS, he does have human emotions. His former name was Jan Sauer.

  M.O.M.O.GENDER: female HEIGHT: 141 cm (4'8") WEIGHT: 36 kg (79 lbs) AGE: looks about 12 years old From the official player's manual: A prototype 100-series Observational Realian (synthetic human) developed to observe and contact Gnosis, an alien life form which can only be detected by a "special sense." MOMO is short for Multiple Observative Mimetic Organicus.
She was created by Joachim Mizrahi, a scientist renowned throughout the galaxy, and his wife, Juli Mizrahi. DATABASEMOMO: Short for Multiple Observative Mimetic Organicus, activation date unknown. This name was given to her by the creator who she views as her father, Joachim Mizrahi. She is sought after the remnants of her father's own organization, the U-TIC. The SOCE and the Kukai Foundation both move to recover and protect MOMO, but U-TIC is not the only force after her. The mysterious Albedo also has his sights set on the girl. She resembles his deceased daughter, Sakura Mizrahi. Her outward appearance is that of a 12 year old. She wants more than anything to be human and to be with the one she sees as her mother, a woman who shunned the idea of a replacement of her daughter. MOMO is an extremely friendly and kind spirit who befriends everyone she meets. She is particularly close to both Ziggy and Jr. CHARACTER SKETCHES

  MOST LOVED IMAGE chaosGENDER: male HEIGHT: 169 cm (5'7") WEIGHT: 53 kg (117 lbs) AGE: looks about 16 years old From the official player's manual: A slender young boy who appears 16 years old but whose true nature is unknown. His perpetually melancholic expression, as well as the depth and scope of his conversations, give the impression that he hails from a higher plane of existence. His translucent blue eyes and silver hair are his particularly distinguishing features.
As he volunteers no information whatsoever about his past other than his name, everything about him, including whether he even has any memory of his past, is unknown. DATABASEHis relationship with Captain Matthews and the Elsa crew appears to go back quite some time, and they all respect him highly. chaos is an enigma, and very little more can be said for him at this point. However, it is obvious from his ability to defeat a Gnosis, and his interactions with the ghostly girl known as Nephilim, that there is something more to him than meets the eye. On an interesting note, chaos's stronger weapons are actually the more tattered ones. This, along with his battle quote "unleash a fragment of your power," seems to suggest that chaos is intentionally holding back his inner strength. CHARACTER SKETCHESN/A

Jr.GENDER: male HEIGHT: 140 cm (4'7") WEIGHT: 38 kg (84 lbs) AGE: looks about 12 years old From the official player's manual: One of the directors of the Kukai Foundation, a special organization based on Second Miltia (an autonomous government in the Galaxy Federation).
Despite his seemingly carefree attitude, Jr. is actually quite wise and will occasionally make satements, cutting right to the heart of things.DATABASEGaignun Kukai Jr. is the director of Kukai Foundation, which was created to counteract the U-TIC organization but remains today as a successful business group. Though their primary business is tourism, Jr. still leads missions to fight the U-TIC in his powerful flagship, the Durandal. His hobby is collecting ancient text and literature, as well as ancient (relative to his time period) weapons. As stated in the Xenosaga Official Design and Materials, a firing system present in a gun (both handguns and those located on the Durandal) allows him to manipulate his will into an attack, resulting in the special moves he uses in battle. The official records state that he was born in T.C. 4755 and is the adopted son of Gaignun Kukai. However, it is blatantly obvious that Jr. is older than he appears to be, and that he and Gaignun share a dark secret they do not want anyone to find out about. CHARACTER SKETCHES???
