*draws in a full sniff to search for any clues* Locals, they may be tha same that were chasing ye through the town. I smell tha blood of a lycan..... There be hunters, tha smell a sliver is bitter in the air! *as a crimson ball of fire Jay pumps his legs as fast as he can twards the nearest woods* (tsk) I canna run fast enough on two legs alone! *flips Lea to his back and bears down on all fours to try and out run the horses* Tha horses are bound ta run us down, can ya move or cast any spells at all?

"I'll try an old spell." Lea closed her eyes and chanted, " I am protected by your might, O gracious Goddess, day and night. Thrice around the circle's bound, Evil sink into the ground." The ground beneath the horses became as quicksand and they slowed. The spell had taken much of Lea's energy. The spell was that of old; A family protection spell, passed down from generation to generation starting with a wolf mage. "That should stop them long enough."

*snearing at the mass of confusion and dissaray in the persuers ranks* Ye have just saved our lives me lady. Although I would much prefer ta turn and slaughter them all for tha sake a yer dear brother, instead of running like a coward! *the only thing keeping that thought from coming to fuition is the weakend state of Lea* They owe ye their live tonight, but we can be sure ta collect in due time! Take hold we only need ta make it deep enough ta loose tha dogs. *with a long bound Jay grabs a small pouch from his belt and tosses it into the air only to have it unleash a light cloud of golden dust that encompasses the pair on their retreat* Mirage pollen, it makes us smell like different things. Quite tha artifact ta have when ya smell like a lycan.
