it seems to me that most of you like comic books. most likely japanese manga, (manwha in korean, which has gotten recently popualr because of colour and art styles)

anyways, 毎日 has manga for the purpose of teaching manga to english speakers. i realized: perfect, now i dont need to think of what im going to teach, but just elaborate on whats there (like, can you reall write down all the english slang you know? thought not)

of course i ll be posting more than just what appears in there, i had prepared a list to teach to you, which will be included.

So:

読み始まってったら!

SKIPPING A FEW PAGES:

A:お前も人間になったりすんの?
A:んなわきゃないか

TRNASLATION:

A: Are you going to turn into as human too (lit. you too, are going to do thing like becoming a human?)
B: no way
[some thing like the pervious mentioned whatever is going to happen]

Ok heres the analysis:

UNISEX SPEECH(SORT OF!)

お前= just an informal way of saying "you". women usually use this when angry, or talking to boys. boys use it alot in informal speech. ALOT, the feamle version of お前 is あんた

すんの= im going to assume your not stupid, and that you were able to figure out this is a more colloquial way of saying するの (which is just informal). FEMALES DO HAVE THIS OPTION. however MEN AND WOMEN, use it mostly IN SITUATIONS WITH THEIR FREINDS OR FAMILY. men using it more. (in japanese る sometmes becomes ん before "n" syllables, but there are cases where this is natural, and cases where it isnt.)

んなわきゃない= This is a simple contraction of そんなわけはない(か) which means "no way something like the previous action mentioned is happening" so pretty much "no way thats happenin' !" i more feminine version is: んなわきゃないのよ!

カラス王子:んなわけないだろ

This is yet another, slightly more polite, way of shortening そんなわけはない
だろ is a contraction of だろう Which is masculine for でしょう
