Jackie sat down at her computer, the glare of the screen light reflected off of her 2.00 glasses, her green eyes skimming through her favorite site, Gaia Online.

Nibbling on her bottom lip as she read through her private messages, deleting chainletters and begging posts, she had become quite popular since she finished her golden laurel quest, everyone thought she was rich, but really, a secret of her account was she was dirt poor!

The clicking of her keyboard echoed around her computer room, trying to be quite since her mother has just gone to bed.
An e-mail caught her eye, the title peeked her interest, but looking at the username it was not familar, had a friend changed names or was this yet again a beg letter cleverly disguised?

Opening up the mysterious private message she began to read down, the user opened up as RayeRe, he saw her in a guild, probably the Warped Minds guild and that she seemed interesting and wanted to get to know her more.
Jackie joined the 'warped minds' guild after going through a terriable break up with her boyfriend, the wound was still healing and though she was in the mind frame of hating men she thought she would give him a try, just as friends right, friends don't hurt one another as easily as dating one another does.

Replying back with a warm responce, as warm as good be in the virtual world she introduced herself back.
Going through his profile she noticed he was not online, but she would go ahead and add him to her friendslist, why not? He seemed okay.
She went through the guild and knew that she was right, he was a member, he even posted in her personal for a friend, he seemed very sweet and nice, he definately intrigued her.

"Jackie? Are you up?" A groggy voiced croaked at her.
Turning her head she looked at the white doorway, seeing the dark figure of her slouched mother, a hand rubbering away her sleep.
"Yes mum..."
"Go to bed!" the house creeked as her mother walked down the hall way again.
Jackie hated how her mother snuck up on her in the dark, then loudly walked off.
Maybe she just got too engrossed into the internet to even realize the creeks her mother made when walking to the computer room.

To be continued.

I think its a really good start, easy to follow, but that was a bad place to stop and say to be continued. I can't wait to read more into it.

I agree with Three, we need more!

That was a little odd place to stop.

But it's a really good start!

I would like to make a little point, if that's okay.

In some of your sentences, you tend to stretch them out with multiple commas where they should really be split into seperate sentences. It will help to break up the text and give it a bit more pace.

For example:

"Opening up the mysterious private message she began to read down, the user opened up as RayeRe, he saw her in a guild, probably the Warped Minds guild and that she seemed interesting and wanted to get to know her more.
Jackie joined the 'warped minds' guild after going through a terriable break up with her boyfriend, the wound was still healing and though she was in the mind frame of hating men she thought she would give him a try, just as friends right, friends don't hurt one another as easily as dating one another does."

It might have a little more flow in it if written like this:

"Opening up the mysterious private message, she began to read down. The user opened up as RayeRe - he saw her in a guild, probably the Warped Minds guild. He said she seemed interesting and he wanted to get to know her more.
Jackie joined the 'warped minds' guild after going through a terrible break up with her boyfriend. The wound was still healing, and though she was in the mind frame of hating men she thought she would give him a try, just as friends. Friends don't hurt one another as easily as dating one another does."

I hope this helps, keep up the good work and give us more!
