you know, I've noticed something. with all the pregnancy scares going on around me, i noticed: isn't it kinda funny (strange funny, not ha-ha funny) that the stress from a pregnancy scare can cause a girl to come on her period late?

that's something really interesting.

isn't it?

it'd be kinda cool to research that.

It's also interesting that the symptoms for early pregnancy are the same as the symptoms of an oncoming period as well.

My one pregnancy scare, that's what happened to me. It ALSO happened around finals, so I stressed myself into a skipped period. It was REALLY stressful. It was before I was on birth control, he and I were using condoms as our only protection...

So yeah... pregnancy scare=late period.

Hehe, not for anyone who's having a pregnancy scare.

Someone who's stressed about a pregnancy scare can also induce the symptoms in themselves. I guess the appropriate phrase would be "scared sick."

People can induce pregnancy symptoms by convincing themselves they are pregnant, either from fear or wishful thinking.
I had a friend who wanted a baby so bad that she had all the signs of pregnancy, the home tests said yes, she was lactating.

It was weird.

o_O That's creepy lol But I agree. What a woman wants, she will have. We can make ourselves have symptoms without actually being pregnant. It's not always good because I know I get depressed when I think I am and find out I'm not but well....I duno.
