Below the various gym leaders of each of the five major regions are listed. Leaders with an * next to their name means they do not have a permanent person to play them, so if you are interested in playing a gym leader, please PM me.
The only major requirements for permission to play a gym leader is that you must have been an active member of the roleplay for at least a year (your status must be listed as active at the time of your application to play a leader). Unfortunately, gym leader slots are limited and not everyone will be chosen to play such an important NPC. If you are turned down, and there are still gym leader spots available later, you could always apply again at a later date.

Personality: Brock wants to be the greatest Pokemon breeder ever. He loves rock type Pokemon and is a master Pokemon food chef! Most of the time he is strong and reliable like stone. Brock also has a rather debilitating weakness for pretty girls and this often gets him into trouble.

She showed more emotion and feelings toward others; however, it was extremely unwise to anger her. Sabrina grew up in Saffron City, never knowing of her sister Nina's existence for many years. When she found out, she grew angry at her parents for not telling her of Nina sooner, and imprisoned them in a dollhouse; later however, she released them. She had spent much of her time traveling with Nina from town to town and city to city; however, Sabrina was killed protecting Nina from an assassination attempt by a member of Team Rocket in Mahogany Town, Johto, or so it would seem. Personality: Calm, collected and indisputably tough, Mateo is the current Sensei of the Fighting Dojo, and now also the Official Gym of Saffron City, as well. In previous years, the Fighting Dojo held this title proudly until they were challenged and defeated by the Psychic-using gym next door. Though they accepted this change humbly, the harsh reality of that defeat weighed heavily on their minds and they have since been training intensely so that someday they may reclaim their lost title and pride. Their hard work and training has since paid off, as recently Sabrina's gym was stripped of its title and returned to the Dojo where Mateo and his followers believe it rightfully belongs. The Dojo and its many members were once well-respected and honored throughout the Kanto region. Young fighters and anyone interested in the martial arts would come to the Dojo, then under the rule of Mateo's father, Matsui, and now the Dojo works to rebuild their lost reputation and restore the Dojo's honor.

She was never caught. Giovanni watched her and didn't seem to really care. His mother than created ''Team Rocket''. In which, all the trainers in the group would care about one thing: power. When his mother died, Giovanni was eighteen years old. He then took command of Team Rocket.

Personality: Having inherited Violet gym from his father, Falkner admires the grace and agility of flying type Pokemon. Generally a kind person, he is a calm and collected trainer who rarely loses his cool during battle. Falkner and his flying Pokemon share a close bond, and often soar through the skies together.

So far he is the youngest Gym Leader to date, an impressive feat indeed. As one of the earlier Gym challenges, he feels less inclined to be happy at his position for the most part, as trainers constantly underestimate him because of his age. He wants to prove to the people outside of Azalea that he is not a weak little child, but a strong trainer. His prized Pokemon is a Heracross, which was his first Pokemon he captured.

Personality: Quiet and self-controlled. Pryce is getting on in age, so he's not as 'spunky' as the other Gym Leaders. He keeps his mind and body together by meditating daily on a large block of ice. As the oldest of all the Gym Leaders (73), he's very quick to judge on the 'young people'. She is usually calm and level-headed during battle, though there are moments where she looses her cool and gives in to her emotions. Clair does not accept defeat easily and has been known to be a bit of a sore loser, though she does relent after she's been given a cool-down period.

Liza: Far more aggressive and experienced than her brother, Liza is the eldest sibling in her family. He is an encouraging man, and takes his losses as well as his wins, believing that as long as strong and confident trainers exist, the future of Pokemon is bright.

Personality: Candice is a cheerful girl with an eye for wintery fashion who has refused to let the constant cold of her hometown freeze her spirits. Due to her town being so far north, her gym doesn't see very many challengers so Candice devotes a lot of her free time to teaching at the Snowpoint Trainers School, where she is well-respected by both students and fellow teaching colleagues. She prefers to use Ice-type Pokemon, with Abomasnow and Weavile being her favourites. Candice can be quite fierce in battle, with her do-or-die attitude often overwhelming her opponents.

A tough and noble gym leader, Volkner's gym is difficult to navigate, as challengers must connect a series of passages to get to him. When challengers do confront him, Volkner fights back fiercely with his plethora of powerful Electric-type Pokemon.
