I would arise from the dead to see new stuff happen. To see what new technology is invented and how long the human race manages to survive and whatnot. And also to read all the books I couldn't in life because the dead don't have to sleep.

A friend of mine was saying, amidst a conversation that was relevant to her story, that at her workplace, her team had a "question of fun", and the question was, "If you were immortal, what would you do?" She answered, "I would find a way to kill myself." Most of her co-workers were, unsurprisingly, confused or shocked. Someone asked her to elaborate and she answered that if you lived forever, you would live to see everyone you ever cared about grow old and die. That would be coming your life. Your existence would revolve around the death and impermanence of others, and that would be torture.
I completely agree. I do not want to live forever. The length of my life is of no importance to me, but the quality of my life is paramount.
So if I were to rise from the dead, I'd probably look back at my grave, or up at the sky and say, "oh, ******** you."

If I were imortal, I'd use that experiance to grow and learn everything there is to know, I suppose. There's nothing much else I'd do. Oh, and revolve my interests in making sure no one notices me. Gosh, I'd be such a hermit. xD heart People die anyways whether you are immortal or not. Who knows, maybe their reancarnation will keep popping up if you live forevah. xD

If I were immortal I wouldn't get attached to anyone. And I wouldn't exactly try to find death, either, since being immortal is like...ya know...basically impossible. But then it would boring cuz you've got everyday crap like bills and gasoline prices and bad presidents and stuff to worry about D< If it were like....back in the REALLY old days with knights and living outside all the time for a living then possibly immortality would be fun...=D

it would be betrayal or some disgusting thing someone did to my body after i died. so basically a serious need for revenge.

Dark Undead Lord Takai If the was one emotion, purspose, reason, desire that would raise you back from the shores of death and give you an unlife, what would it be? How many did you destroy to taint you or who did you not quite finish helping? That'd be me! I'd kill all the people I hate.

Though I do not plan on coming back, I believe I would if it was to look after one of my family members or descendants. I do not think I could be at peace if one of them still needed me.
