my friend burned me an album of these guys, who'm i'd never heard before. boy, can they play!!! i heard their albums Moanin' and The Jazz Messengers, which have great stuff!!! thoughts, anyone?

I'm a great fan of the Jazz Messangers. I particularly love how Buhina can just lay back and swing like a mofo and not need to play anything particularly fancy or flashy. Have you ever checked out the album Ugetsu? That's a fun one!
