Introduction: The Legend of Bloodmoon Ranch
Legend has it that many years ago, a rancher and his wife lived on the grounds now belonging to Conan Wolfchild who is their direct decendant, and so far last in a long line of the Wolfchild clan. They had many beautiful yuma and did their best to take great care of them. Then one dark and starry night, the moon became full and turned as red as blood. It was on this night that many of their yuma were slaughtered by a vicious wolf.
Little did this poor rancher know, but this wolf was actually an anthro werewolf that could turn from half-human, half-wolf to full wolf and back again, but it was rarely ever seen in it's mid-way form. The rancher had gone out to slay this wolf and did so, but had gotten bitten in the process. After that fretful night, every time there was a full blood red moon, more and more of their beautiful yuma would be found dead the next morning torn to shreds.
Then one day, after giving birth, the ranchers wife turned up missing with her newborn child. To this day, no one knows what happened to her. Some say, she had also been the vicitim of whatever was killing their pets. Still, some say that she managed to flee and decided never to return.
Years went by, and the place remained empty, until the day when Conan Wolfchild had taken over it so quickly that no one knew it had actually been occupied again at long last. The only clue that came was when one night on a blood red moon, a passer by claimed he heard howling of a wolf and rattleling of chains. Of course, no one believed his story being he was known as the town drunk, and what made it even less believable was that two yumas and two foals roamed the grounds unharmed after that night. Surely they would have been killed......
