I was just thinking that this is a really hot pairing...think about it...Shikamaru goes to visit Temari and then he realizes " Oh yeah, I don't even like women..." then Gaara comes along and is all like " hey sexy, my room is much nicer than my sister's, wanna check it out?" Smexing ensues...The End.

Shikamaru DOES say that he doesn't like women, though. I think Temari just kind of bullies him into being with her XD Like, it's just too much trouble to say no to her. Poor Shika... all anyone would have to do to get into his pants is annoy him until he gave in.

I have never seen that pairing before. I guess I can kind of see it. I, personally, prefer GaaraLee. I can see Shikamaru with a couple of different people, but, that's just probably because my imagination runs wild sometimes.

I can see Shikamaru with Naruto, Chouji, Neji, or Temari. The Gaara thing... it's hot to think about, but I'm not quite sure how it would happen. Shikamaru seemed, basically, terrified of Gaara, even if he did stand up to him. But Gaara did seem sort of intrigued by Shikamaru at times (when Shika and Naruto stood up to him, the fight with Temari, etc), so who knows? Besides, I can't really complain about there being little basis for it when I just said that I can see ShikaNeji. I mean, that one probably has even less basis; I don't think that Shikamaru and Neji interact at all aside from the mission to get Sasuke. I guess their personalities just sort of go well together.

I think thats why he likes Temari, because she isn't all "OMGSASUKEISSOKAWAIISQUEALJOYHAPPY!!!!!" Personally I think Shika is a little sadist that likes being abused (he secretly finds it sexy) and he thinks 'Temari is going to beat me up if I talk back to her...god that is so hot....or...something like that sweatdrop '
