 ((Anyone's welcome to jump in, even if someone else already has, X3 <3 Choa would like a few friends! ;o; )) It was late morning when Choa finally decided to venture out into the Pridelands on her own. Her siblings were driving her mad, and she'd never really gone that far away from the den on her own, so today found the quickly-growing ivory and black cub trotting happily across the grasslands, Pride Rock quickly becoming smaller as it moved farther into the distance.
She knew enough to keep it in sight at all times, however; she didn't want to get lost. Eventually she made her way toward a herd of zebra, taking interest in the black and white coloration of their pelts. They didn't take much notice of her, knowing that as a juvenile, Choa didn't pose much threat by herself. "They look like me," she realized, her voice a murmur. "Maybe I'm a zebra!" She knew the truth of it, but it was fun to play pretend.

Inari was wandering around again, he wanted to grow big darn it! Why was it taking so long? He wanted to be big and be able to take long strides instead of tiny steps, tiny pounces, everything was too tiny! He wanted to get bigger faster and right now! His golden eyes were traveling voer teh stones in his path, his tiny paws kicking them to the side as he walked. He saw a herd of zebra, even they were bigger then him. The blue shining feather still hung from behind his ear as he tilted his head;
One was VERY small compared to the rest, and heading towards them
Interesting.
Inari started to pad towards the area, perhaps he could try to be big and strong today. Then if he got bigger, he could go find Mrost and tell him what he knw of that other blue lion, yes, that would be good. As he got closer, the tiny zebra was beginning to look more and more cat-like. A lion perhaps? Yes it was! As he got clsoer, they were still bigger then him, they were a girl too.
This would be uhh...interesting.
"Hello," Inari called out, puffing his chest up a bit to look bigger as he approached the white pelted with black-markings lioness cub...older cub. "I'm Inari, who're you?" he smiled, perhaps she would want to play, or be a friend, or both!

She'd begun delving further into her imagination by the time Inari spotted her. So engrossed in the fantasy that her paws her hooves, and her tassled tail was instead that of a zebra's, that she didn't even notice his scent, and the sound of his voice startled her back into the real world.
She brightened almost immediately, though, seeing that it was another lion cub. A possible friend, perhaps?
"Hi!" she greeted, turning away from the zebra herd to prance excitedly over to the other. "I'm Choa!"

He smiled, golden eyes upon her, Choa looked so...different from what Inari would have guessed from others in the Pridelands. But he couldn't judge too much, after all, he had seen a bright blue lion before. That was stranger then Choa, but her white pelt and black markings were quite interesting to Inari.
Inari puffed his chest out a bit as Choa got closer, she was taller then him...darn it. He couldn't even be taller then a pretty girl? Was this a cruel joke? Oh well, perhaps it wouldn't matter. "Whatcha doing out here Choa?" he was curious, had to be, it was in his nature to be curious and want to play tricks on his siblings and such.

"Adventuring of course!" She said it like it was some big secret, in a loud whisper that really wasn't supposed to be quiet.
She glanced back toward the zebras, and swung her attention back to Inari. "...You wanna come along?" Of course, she had no idea where to go. But she was having fun already.

Adventure? Inari smiled, he liked advventures, took some everyday actually. It was fun, going places you haven't been before, doing things you were afraid of doing but did them anyway, it was all about the thrill.
Inari looked towards the zebras as she did, she really could associate her coloring with them, perhaps that was what brought her out here towards them, "Sure!" Inari said play pouncing forward and crouching down, grinning at her, course he would. He would be a warrior one day, so of course he would go!

"Um. Where do you want to go?" she asked her newfound friend, her head cocked to one side inquisitively.

"Hmmm..." Inari thought pondering in his mind, where could they go that he hadn't already been by? He looked towards Pride Rock, which wasn't very far off, it had been a while since he had gone there, he really hadn't seen much of it.
"Maybe...Pride Rock? Have you been there a lot? I haven't been there many times..." Inari said, flicking his tail to the side. He smiled at Choa, why did she seem so familiar?

She grinned at that. "We live right next to Pride Rock. There's a den hidden in the rock outcroppings. Come on, I'll show you!"
Choa didn't give Inari time to reply; instead she dashed off, expecting him to keep up.

Inari smiled, she lived near there? So lucky! It looked so grand. He went to say something but she dashed off, his eyes grew wide for a moment, she was energetic. He smiled and chased after her, trying to catch up and keep a steady pace. Theyw ere heading towards Pride Rock, he wondered what it looked like up close. If it was really really big.
So interesting.
He couldn't wait.
What would the future bring them?
