~The vixen felt the rush of the woods call to her.
The wind smelled sweet. Calling. She felt herself fade once more.
The air was toxic to breathe. Running. Get away.
Her head was buzzing with sounds from long ago. Sounds that brought back memories. The great fight. The sound of pain. Rushing faster.
He stood there. Who is he? Why does he look familiar.
The vixen leaned back to howl, to release her pain.
Slowly words if not a name uttered in her saddened call unto the darkness consuming her. Fea warwa en'Alimar.
Andromeda followed Anomaly through the door, vanishing from the two left behind.
She felt herself swallowed by the darkness as she emerged outside on the Tower's roof. The stars spoke softly as the wind played through her mane and tail. She had finally reached where she was to be. Now she would wait to find what was needed. So close now.

Yami raised his eyebrow a moment as the small fox cried out, it soudned to him as if it were in pain. SLowly he knelt down beside it and gave it a pet on the head as he tried to look into it's eyes.
"How is it you have followe dus this far little one?"

The vixen looked at the ground in sadness. He had forgotten everything it seemed.
She curled her tail tightly around her and released a deep sigh. Her ears swiveled toward the doorway the two horses had disappeared through.
Being more clouded than coherent she couldn't remember why she was there. This was a strange almost foreign feeling welling up within. The fire stench that burned her sensitive nose was slowly fading away. She looked back around whist checking her surroundings. Everything was strange as reality crept around her like a threatning snake.
She turned one last time to look directly at the male elf. Her eyes as blue as the sea pleaded for him to remember something.

Yami glanced down at the fox starign intently up at him. It felt familiar to him, but he couldn't figure out why. He knelt down and looked into the fox's eyes. The eyes were familiar to him, and he still couldn't figure out why. His mind raced, how oculd a little fox liek this make it here, and yet Rein is missing, why did Anomaly act like she belonged here. His face contorted a coupel times to form a solution, but the answers were escaping him. He looked away for a moment togain his thoughts.
"If the fox was treated like it should be there, what does the fox have to do with Andromeda, and where is..," his eyes widened for a moment as he turned back tot he fox's eyes, "Rein?..."

The vixen's eyes shined wider than the brightest star among the horizon.
She thumped her busy tail lightly as it brushed the ground. Finally he was remembering. Soon she would change back forgetting this very moment.
Andromeda followed Anomaly as they seemed to climb nothing but air itself. Surrounding them was a replication of the entire universe as it spun itself webs of planets and stars. Thousands of twinkling eyes it seemed winked at the horned mare.
The celestial mare snorted with an air of curiousity as to where they were climbing to. She watched the strange stallion whom like her carried a blanket of the celestial universe. But he unlike her carried a set of heavenly wings as they lay folded neatly against his strong back. She was fascinated that her reflection in the lower depths of the tower shown her the same thing. She whickered with contemplation swishing her tail as well.
~The tall stallion whom was once a wizard turned his head to look at her with a smile. She was indeed the one whom he had envisioned would arrive at the tower.
On this very night even. Perhaps the stars did know the real truth afterall.
"My dearest Andromeda you wish to know... don't you? Why you were born, why you wear that coat, and who you truly are." he said with a swish of his tail as it brushed against the curious mare. "Ah but that m'dear is for you to find out on your own."~
Andromeda tilted her head in confusion with an abrupt whinny. Her thoughts racing with so many queries her head was going to simply explode. "Whoah wait a minute... But that is why we came to the tower... to learn who I am, right?"
~The stallion shook his head. "Not entirely correct. You have a long way till you discover the truth to all your questions you wish to conquer. But I am only a vessel in this permanent form." he sighed as they reached what seemed the window to the outside.~

Yami knelt down before the little fox as it stared up at him with it's eyes. He leaned forward and squinted his eyes a bit staring at the little fox. He sat himself up straight again.
"Rein? what happened to you?"

~From the distant sound perking in Andromeda's ears she realized that midnight was nearly upon them. She felt the presence of Rein and Yami but still it was faint. And the torn page was still a mystery in this whole fabrication that was unfolding.
"Wait.... what about midnight and things being revealed?" she snorted with a confused whinny. "Is something going to happen to us"?
The mare stood there impatiently it seemed for time was growing thin at the moment. She had come so far in speech, growth, and wisdom. Now when things fell into place she was more confused than ever.
~Rein stood up and wagged her tail as it became more bushy. Her eyes, blue orbs gleaming in recognition at him. Turning her head slightly she noticed Andromeda and the other changling had vanished. Whimpering she looked at him one last time and ran off through the darkened doorway, vanishing as her snowy tipped tail was the last to gaze upon.
~Anomaly looked at the mare and smiled as his only revealed eye peered out at her.
"Paitience Andromeda. Though you will learn more, not all of it will be this time around. We must wait for your companions before we progress to the stars."
With that the stallion stood there watching the doorway as the stars blanketed the dark sky as their own coats smiled back at them.~

Yami had looked up to notice taht the foals were gone, and now the silver fox was runnign towards the door. He stood himself up as fast as he could, caught his balance. Then broek into a run after the kitsune.
"Rein! Wait!," he shouted afte rhe ran after the fox, nto knowing where the doorway would lead.

~Outside the stars shimmered above them, thousands gazing down. The kitsune ran till she stopped just short of the two changlings. She wagged her tail and waited for Yami.~
~The large stallion smiled thoughtfully watching the male elf also arrive as the time struck to midnight. He smiled thoughtfully and looked at them all. "The prophecy has been opened as you all have come at this point in time. Now all will be revealed as I am free once again" he said deeply looking at Andromeda. As he looked down at the fox, she yipped in a bit of fright. Before their eyes she changed into a hybrid girl of both kitsune and elfling.
~Andromeda looked at Rein sending images of confusion one right after another. She didn't comprehend what Anomaly was doing or saying.
~Rein smiled and gasped as she looked to the sky above. It seemed the strike of Midnight was upon them as thousands of shooting stars purged from the skies to the ground below. Both Anomaly and Andromeda's coats began to move like the star system in unison once again. The light was so bright from the falling gems from the sky that everything seemed to glow with them. "What's happening?" she queried as she watched the two changlings glow as if another portal was opening.

Yami stopped short behidn the kistune as it sat in front of him. He looked down as the small fox wagged it's tail, and then raised his head to look forward twoards the two changlings. With in an instant of light and sound he looked towards his feet. Rein once again lie right there before him.
The young elf knelt down beside her to check if she was alright, then raised his head towards Anomoly and Andromeda again. A glowing came from in front fo them. Yami shielded his eyes from the bright light. His mind paced a bit with thoughts of wonder adn curiostiy. He questioned what might be going on. The blinding light radiated an filled the openning to where they ha djust came out of, and it almost seemed again liek day outside.
"WHat's goign on?" Yami question, but he had no answers for himself.

~As the sky shimmered the two changlings glowed intensly. With everything intensifying the others had to turn away from the light. Andromeda looked at him with sad eyes as if she knew what was happening. Anomaly shook his head and reached out nuzzling her as he seemed to fade in the bright light.
~Rein leaned in closer to Yami as she too felt herself feeling drained and weakened from the surge of light. Her being still feeling the effects of the kitsune she had traveled as.
~Andromeda whinied as she lowered her head to cross horns with his.
She felt his lifeforce fading which caused her to want to follow. Her eyes watching him intently.
~Anomaly shook his head as he turned to look at the light that now created the portal. "No Andromeda. I was the foolish one to toy in such things as prohecy and vision. For that I was punished." he said with a deep sigh, "But, because I didn't progress against what was written, I am entitled to try once more where I did not suceed." he said with a deep grin. Tossing his head he managed to reveal the area underneath his forelock. The right eye was completely gone. Nothing but a perfect empty space lie where his eye should have. "Now... I haven't got much time so Rein I need you and Yami to listen closely. Hold the book within both of your hands and watch the eye. Only that can bring you salvation to the end of your quest. Yami you have been granted guardianship by the spirits. Guard him well."

Yami leaned over and pulled Rein into his arms. He looked down at her a bit while still shieldign hsi eyes from the light ahead. A voice called out to him and he could only see the outlines ahead as the glowing got brighter before them. He heard the voice of anomoly in his head. Yami raised his hair,s till blinded byt he glow.
"I will do all that which is in my power, my best and I cant promise any more than that. I do not know what I am capable fo yet, but I will do as I must," he shouted forth un aware wehtehr hsi voice was even heard.

~Reaching out for the book Rein held in as tight as she could gazing into the eye. She swallowed heavily when it opened to gaze back at her pale face. Then there was a rush of blurriness and she clenched her eyes shut again.
~ Re-opening her eyes, the elfling realized she was still in Yami's arms but they were sitting in the grass below the tower, where they had first started this quest. Rubbing her eyes she looked around and noticed her changling whom now was a beautuful adult. A spriral horn that gleamed a top her forehead. The book had vanished completely that once was in her hands but in the place of it was a pendent necklace. That of a cresent moon and two stars. It shimmered silver as the stars had and seemed big enough to place around Andromeda's neck. Standing she walked over to her mare and patted her lightly. With a smile she placed the pendent necklace around her changling's neck. Then she noticed the colt not too far off. He seemed to be nosing another book lying on the ground.
Had this quest really happened she pondered? What did Anomaly mean by another chance? And who was this changling that appeared out of nowhere?
"Perhaps Ceres will know Andromeda. Yami we should go home now."
