Perri spoke on the phone a little longer, snapping it closed and sighing. Even working for herself she rarely got a day off. "Blue-"
"Time to go." the girl said glumly, waving at everyone as they headed out. "Bye! It was great to meet you!"

Shad walked calmly down the street, his eyes finding the cold sidewalk strangly interesting. A large coat was clung over his frame, keeping him warm from the fridged temperature. Puffs of white air formed in front of him as he breathed into the air.
Behind him, Kluster walked in stride, his arms folded behind his head and his eyes staring into the sky. A small sack of candies hand from one hand.
The two were oddly quiet, dispite the rampage of aliens and Gaians all over the streets. Most people were bound to be at Gambino's rebuilt mansion, but there were still some out and about, collecting candy for the King of Halloween, Jack.
"Hey, dad..." Kluster said after a while of walking. Shad stoped and turned to look at the Kybernetic. Kluster's eyes were focused on a building to the left of them.
It was Doctor Albert's lab.
Shad was a bit surprised. He'd all but forgotten where the place was, and here they were. The lights were on inside and there was evidence of some kind of commotion going on inside. A Halloween party?
Kluster and Shad looked to each other for a moment in silence. Kluster smiled a bit at his father. Shad's expression remained blank for a moment. It softened for a moment, before Shad returned the smile.
Kluster bolted for the doors, with Shad calmly walking in tow. The Kybernetic opened the door with a smile. "Hello all," he called.

Darsais paused in her conversation and glanced over at the newly-arrived red haired boy and his father. Smiling, she brushed her hair away from her face. Yes, Samara had left the building.
She bounded over.
"Kluster, right? What are you supposed to be?"

Kluster paused for a moment at the question. He looked down at his plain red long sleeved shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. Nothing at all interesting and definietly not something that would qualify as a costume.
He slightly blushed. "Um...I don't have one."
Shad gave a weak laugh in agreement. "We've been so busy lately that we never really had time to plan for Halloween."

"Ohh," replied Darsais, frowning slightly. "Make something up? Like..." She twirled around thoughtfully and then grabbed a litttle hay out of one of the decorative bales.
"A scarecrow!"
