DISCIPLINE BREEDS STRENGTH
The above proverb goes for all things, not just for being a part of a unit or a Guild on a website. I believe in trust and loyalty - I do not want to see the following things happening EVER:
-Disrespecting of anyone. A high position doesn't matter. We are all friends and allies here and it should remain so.
-Commiting acts of God in Roleplays. AKA 'Godmoding' AKA 'Powerplaying' AKA 'Stupid'.
-Taking something too seriously. I've seen this happen alot and it will usually end up resulting in a violation of the first offense - No disrespecting. Things online are like grains of sand in a blazing hot desert. Learn not to whine about the tiny pieces that are sharper and hotter than the others. They probably didn't mean to hurt your foot anyways.
-Revolting. Yes, it happens all the time - Especially with trouble-makers. But thanks to the new Guild system, Outer Heaven will stay in one piece for as long as Gaia exists.
-Spamming and bumping in stickies. See also: Stupid.
-PLEASE NO CHAT-SPEAK. I never want to see that, if I see anything else. Chat-Speak is the kind of typing that looks like 'hi i am joe giv me sum gold plz'.
BECOME ONE WITH HEAVEN
There are quite a few ways in becoming an experienced warrior, even in this modern day and age. Many follow a code. Others fall into a group. We, on the other hand, have created a force.
All types of force have to be able to flow in a pattern, or it risks being unstable, and therefore, dangerous to its own existence and the existence of others. That is why you must learn to adapt to a few things, and they are:
-Follow the Chain of Command. All normal military functions in the real world have one, and if they don't, they are lost. I won't always be here to lead, so instead of PMing problems you have to me first, send it to one of the moderators. If they cannot resolve it, then they will contact me. This is how a Chain of Command works.
-When you must 'bump' a topic inside Outer Heaven, it is REQUIRED you use the word 'CODEC' instead of 'bump'. It would also be favorable if you typed some relevant information to the topic you have 'CODEC'd in the same post.
-Please use your own Photobucket account for Guild tags/signatures/banners/images.
-When Roleplaying, the form I prefer best is something I like to call 'Book-Style'. This style is basically the same as writing a book, where actions and descriptions are in plain text, thoughts are in italic text, and spoken words of characters are surrounded by "[Spoken word(s) here]". You may use any other style, but I like the Book-Style over all others [Because it makes for more enjoyable reading].
-Post information, thoughts, and whatever in the right topic. If there is no topic for it, you are welcome to make your own. But please do not make a Spam thread without first consulting me. There is already one and it should be sufficent, but if not, check with me about what yours is about first.
-Just call me... BOSS. This kinda became a little thing that the regular posters of the Official MGS 3: SE Discussion Thread started. I don't know why, perhaps it was my signature at the time, but I've become fond of it. So just think of me as the BOSS here.
-Be patient - With waiting for signatures and other things. Example: Don't ask when your unique Guild tag will be complete!
