I have two DVD's that I bought randomly. Dubs usually aren't as nice as the original version, imho, but I found the Vandread dub was pretty nice as far as those things go. But I still prefer sub as I like the voices better, I read fast enough that I don't miss any of the action, and I just plain like to see/read something in its original language :>

Yeah, I first watched Vandread dubbed and then subbed., and I must say the dubbing is actually pretty good. One of the best dubbing jobs I've heard so far.

I think both versions are good, but I prefer dubbed versions to sub versions.

i think that both versions were excellent. The english and Japanese versions had good voice actors, and i can read while i watch pretty easily. However, The dubbed version gets my vote, mostly because i HATED Hibiki's japanese voice. xd

I've only seen it dubbed on TV.
As far as which I prefer in general, whichever I feel did a better job with the voice acting.

I prefer subbed as well, MOST English voices tend to not match their characters, but I do admit they are getting better. There are some I actually prefer dubs to though, those are the few who manage to out do the Japanese Seiyuus.
