Wh0?

Hey there! You might have seen me in such films as 'To Outer Space, and Back', as well as-- *shot*

Anyhoo, I suppose I could say I'm the average Gaian, but who here is average anymore? I love to write, as well as draw, but I write a far bit better than I draw, currently.

I've pretty much been on Gaia since it first started. I know how everything works, and this is only my second quest, since I often give than to receive, because I love to make others smile. But now, this would honestly be my last quest...

Please venture forth, fellow reader!

it's true that i already have an LotT, but he wasn't originally my design. in truth, i had been designing amadeus far before i had even received loki, and actually held off on her to develop loki more.

but now that i've developed loki (quite happily, i might add), i'm bringing amadeus back out. i just can't let her concept go to waste, because i love her very deeply, and have worked so hard on what she is, as well as her entire history.

basically, she is everything i've dreamed of, and possibly more. it's almost like a lifelong dream, only... a dreamlong life.

There were no evident harpies in legends. Most fairy tales spoke not of the awful beast, stories told not of the wonders of the myth... it was almost like the harpy had never existed in the latter part of the world... save for one part.

There were only the greek myths that spoke of the legend; they spoke of harpies as filthy winged monsters who had characteristics of a bird and of a woman, similar to that of Sirens. Their faces were hideous, and their lower bodies potrayed that of vultures, inspiring both horror and disgust. It was said that they could fly as fast as a bolt of lightning, and that they were the personification of storm winds.

There is one tale that has never been written down; the only TRUE tale, one of love and hate, of abandonment and sorrow. And last, but not least of all, a field of flowers growing from the blood of a single harpy.

Some say a battle had raged on between a harpy and a vampire, that they had betrayed each other, from years of building anger between the races. Others say that they were both betrayed, and thought the other had betrayed them, thus fighting to the death. But in truth, no one knew what the real reason was.

No one, save for the blood red flowers, edges tinted black as night.

Not one soul mourned over the loss of the harpy, not one tear was shed; the flowers remained in the field, swaying gently in the breeze, dying and living, and dying and living again as the seasons changed from Fall to Winter, Winter to Spring, Spring to Summer, and back to Fall again.

Many years passed and the legend was forgotten, though the aspect of harpies were not. The rumors spread by humans had turned them into foul, vicious beasts, and the field of flowers was avoided at all costs, because they were feared to have magical powers; one rumor stated the flowers, if touched, could turn you into a harpy, while others revolved around the fact that the flowers were poison, such as arsenic or cyanide.

The legend that was once a blessing became a curse, and soon the Past became the Present, and the Present brought the Future. And still, the flowers remained, untouched by Time...

Amadeus; Second Story...?!

However, the harpy did not die. Meddlers, as their namesake suggests, interfered with the natural order of things, and saved both Amadeus and the vampire's life. Amadeus chose the chance to be a Meddler, while the vampire chose to stay. To calm her down, they meddled with her blood and forced humanity into her, making her feel and understand... though it took a long while for her to accept it.

As she came to learn, Meddlers did not like death. They did everything they could to prevent it, to provide a second chance... but in some cases, death was inevitable.

Some of the Meddlers were peaceful beings, while others liked a little tussle now and again, but most of them dealt with their own specialties; Amadeus herself was an herb gatherer, and it fit well with her down-to-earth personality.

The Meddlers became her family, distant as she was. Dimension-travelling had never been more awe-inspiring.

At least, it was, until the betrayal...

Name: Amadeus; named after Wolfgang Amedeus Mozart, and the song 'Rock Me, Amadeus' due to her affinity with music.
Gender: Female
Eye color: Left eye azure blue, while the right eye is a brilliant gold.
Hair color: Red, with black tinges - to match her 'dream flowers'.
Charm: Her cat, Karma.
Wings: Huge red wings, with a golden red tinge to them, coming from her back (and shoulders).
Personality: Amadeus will start out to be really proud of who/what she is, but might come off as snobbish to those that see it that way. She is a warrior through and through, and has major confidence to overcoming those she collides with. However, as she grows, her feelings will become unsure and unstable; voices will speak to her, and dreams will seek her out for her to be the 'hero' of that world/dimension.

Dreams are not to be taken for granted. They are not a given, nor are they to be taken in a lighthearted manner. Dreams are as they are, sometimes with a deeper meaning hidden in them that most do not see, or will ever see. Sometimes Dreams are windows to the future, and sometimes they are memories of the past, replayed to remind the heart of what once was.

FAQ

Don't you already have a Legend?
Yes? I've been wanting Amadeus long before I ever got Loki, I just never had the chance to win her. So, auction is now the only way to go. ^^; Either that, or a bribe. Actually... I have no idea how I'm going to get her. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

What's this about 'Meddlers'?
Meddlers are my type of dimension-surfers, so to speak. They're able to travel to different worlds and change what they like. Dreams is one way of travel, and the other will be explored once she hits teen.
