Tyr had taken a break from helping Raeanne with her halloween costume...it just got to be to much for him. It wasnt that making costumes was a difficult pastime...but it was the manner in which Raeanne was going about it was what bothered her. She was going as Sally from Nightmare before Christmas...and in the name of accuracy, she was quiet literally sewing Sally's stitch marks into her own skin.
Tyr knew she was some kind of animated doll anyway...but the idea behind sewing one's own flesh sent shivers down the queasy teenager's spine.
Seriously, she already had enough problems to deal with....like being female to begin with. Gender change overnight wasn't normal, god damnit! Though she'd gotten used to it (slightly; she admitted she was kind of feminine to begin with, now she just had the breasts to match), Raeanne's skin-sewing didn't help. It just didn't.
So, Tyr entertained herself by drying the dishes in the sink.

Pales was already dreading the moment to come, and honestly so was Armel. They stood together at the front door a moment. The little Naga in the woman's arms was currently covered in the netted shirt Pales had left the house with earlier. It was more in the interest of keeping the baby warm than it was to conceal the child's form.
The ram-horned boy held in his arms a covered wand. Armel had used his own jacket to do so. He glanced up at his Da almost seeming worried for a brief moment. These next few minutes are going to be hell.
"Just go stake out a room for her we'll fix it up later." Pales instructed as he reached over to open the door, but only to have the knob swing from his grasp presenting him with Suzu. Pales and Armel both startled guiltily and Suzu just tilted his head.
"Wha-..." The bespectacled boy began to say something, but Armel silenced him with a gesture.
"Come wi' me, an' let's find Rae too. You guys can help me." The boy uttered gruffly, "Da and Tyr need t'talk."
Pales nodded once and ushered both boys indoors as she also stepped inside calling out softly, "Tyr?" her voice called out tentatively from the entry hall.

Tyr hadn't heard the door open over the radio Raeanne was playing; according to her, silence was too deafening. Funny how a doll would say silence was bad; the girl barely ever spoke anyway!
Tyr didn't hear the door, but Rae, who was in the living room near to it, definately heard it. With her long needle still sticking out of her arm and the black thread trailing along the floor, she stood up and wandered towards the door after hearing Suzu and Armel's voices.
She didn't say anything, but she stared quizzically at her brothers and her father, just peeking out from the door frame. What was that in Da's arms? Why was Armel asking them for silence? Somehow, she suspected it had to do with her guardian. Chewing on her bottom lip through the stitchmarks, the doll wandered silently after her brothers, unsure if they realized she was there or not.
Tyr startled when her name was called, nearly dropping the dish she was holding. After NOT dropping it, she placed it on the counter as if she mistrusted it now, then turned her bright blue eyes towards her mate. "Pales?" She mimicked jokingly, apparently not noticing the bundle in her mate's arms.

Pales quietly shifted her shoulders a bit while adjusting the bundle in her arms which thankfully stayed asleep. She kicked off her high-heeled shoes so as not to tower over her mate as she then went padding up to Tyr upon socked feet and asking, "How are you feeling today, Love?"
Armel having been looking for Rae in the first place finally noticed the girl following them as he looked behind him when he didn't see her in the living room. He almost startled at suddenly seeing his sister behind them instead of in front of them somewhere. He grinned lightly at his sibling, "Gotta put a bell 'bout yer neck, girl." Armel teased a bit as he motioned the girl to follow them.
Suzu just shrugged his shoulders as he just made a twirling motion with his right topmost arms beside his head. Signifying that Armel was crazed or something of the sort, a gesture obviously meant to make Rae amused, "What is going on, Armel? You should at least tell us."
The ram-horned boy threw a furtive glance over his shoulder to the kitchen where they were far enough away that Tyr couldn't hear them, but still, "C'mon I'll explain on th' way to the bedrooms."
The four-armed boy heaved a sigh and nodded gesturing for Armel to lead the way, "What is that in your arms?"
"I'll tell both o' ye soon." Is all he replied with as he moved forward.

Raeanne, after being found out, grinned at her eldest brother and shook her head, as if to say she didn't want a bell. Then, with her inverted eyes moving to Suzu, she pressed her hand to her mouth and made all the motions of laughter...without actually making a sound.
When he wouldn't answer any of their questions (Raeanne was thinking the same thing Suzu was speaking), the doll gave Suzu a curious look after she shuffled up to walk beside him. After hitting him once by accident with the butt end of her sewing needle, she gave an apologetic look and simply pulled it out of her arm as easily as one would remove a glove, taking to holding it instead of letting it stick out of her skin.
"I'm...queasy. Rae's stitching her skin again." Even as she said it, Tyr's face began to pale, as if she were going to be sick. Shaking her head as if to clear it, she gripped onto the counter's edge and leaned back against it. Now she noticed the bundle in Pales' arms. "...Pales..." She started almost nervously, lifting a hand to point at the bundle. "What...is that...?" Her voice seemed full of dread...as if she knew the answer but didn't want it to be true.

Suzu gave off a soft squeak his bottommost hands going to his rump while his topmost hands reached up to his mouth as if to attempt to catch the squeak before it escaped. Alas it was too late and he stood still a moment blushing.
Armel stopped and glanced back at Rae and Suzu with a small sigh and shaking his head, "'Ey, you two okay back there?"
The four-armed boy glanced at Rae after dropping his top hands from his mouth nodding simply to her before looking to Armel simply nodding again. He was fine; it was just that he wasn't really expecting a poke on the rear just then.
Meanwhile in the kitchen a discovery was made.
Pales nodded smiling a bit as she understood how such a task could make one queasy. The older woman adjusted the bundle in her arms a bit and that was around the time when Tyr noticed the bundle causing Pales to momentarily freeze. She looked up at her mate with a small almost pleading smile, "She needs us, Tyr," It was an almost cajoling tone. Pales quietly stepped forward, "Her name is Kaveri, and is for the most part a normal baby." She hoped this would ease a bit of Tyr's anxiety that was already showing up.

Rae looked every once apologetic. She didn't mean to bump into Suzu! Drawing her inverted eyes to the ground, she hugged her sewing needle closer, and waited for Armel to say something, anything, about what was going on.
Tyr put her hand against the counter top again, now staring at the bundle her mate was holding. "...Serkan needed us too, and look where that got us." She said quietly, nervously chewing on her bottom lip. Why must all these strange children end up with them? Why couldn't they just have a normal kid for once, or perhaps no kid at all? Even Andy wasn't normal; he was too good to be normal. It was creepy.
"Most part? How...can she be a normal baby for the most part?" She had to ask, she just had too...but the anxiety in her voice couldn't be hidden if she tried.

Both of the brothers felt badly once Rae began to look downwards all abashed. Suzu gently placed his topmost arm about her shoulders to show that it was okay. Sometimes actions were better than words.
Armel just nodded and sighed for a moment. They were safe enough for now, "We have a new little sister." He stated simply, "You two know how that could be trouble, right?"
Pales smiled a bit wanly, "W-well would you rather I showed you or told you? Either way you're not going to like it." She was never too sure how to go about explaining such things to Tyr, but she didn't really blame her mate considering the experiences had thus far. One thing Pales could admire was that Tyr usually found a way to gradually adjust to the changes and additions to the house.

Raeanne looked up again when she felt one of Suzu's arms closing around her shoulders, the shattered doll offering him a small smile in gratitude. At least he knew she didn't mean to! "(Sister?)" Raeanne asked; or rather whispered into Suzu's ear, too quiet for Armel to hear. Rae had never spoken out loud, somehow prefering whispering to a trusted someone, and letting them relay the message. "(She's...not like Serkan, is she...?)" Rae's quiet voice was nervous and pleading....she'd had more than her fair share of bad experiences with sisters. She liked her brothers (and Toki) better.
Tyr kept chewing nervously on her lip, one hand reaching up to weave its fingers through her raven coloured hair. Either would be bad, Tyr quite enjoyed her ignorance...but reality had a wonderful way of shattering her ignorance time and time again. However... "J-just...show me...get it over with..." She pleaded, her voice getting quieter as she spoke. It'll be like ripping off a bandaid, she told herself mentally.

Suzu didn't mind being suddenly appointed Rae's (louder) mouthpiece, "Brother, she wonders if she'll be like the Bloody One." He nodded over at Rae to make sure it was clear who was wondering what, but it wasn't really necessary.
The ram-horned boy shrugged a bit, "So far she is a real little baby, and has no legs. Instead of legs she has a snake tail. Guessin' we'll have to make some changes around here so she can get around. As far if she will be like Serkan, I doubt it. The baby jus' seems like a lil' fusspot that's all." He rubbed his chin while looking about the stretch of hallway they were in, "An' she needs a room close to where our Dads can hear them." It was one of the few times when Armel referred to Tyr as a 'da' as well otherwise the boy was too set in his ways to call the teen Da or Dee.
The older woman let out a deep nervous breath while nodding once. Showing did seem best, but it was safer to ask, "Alright," Pales replied. It had crossed her mind to ask Tyr not to scream or make any loud noises as Kaveri was sleeping at the moment, but found it to be a foolish request as she stepped a little bit closer first revealing the very human torso of the lightly slumbering naga-girl. The woman smiled a bit at the visage mentally apologizing for whatever came next as she removed the covering that currently swathed the girl revealing the dusky brown scaled lower end that 'replaced' where her legs ought to be.

Raeanne nodded when Suzu spoke for her, staring nervously at Armel. When he explained about the naga child, the shattered doll looked thoroughly relieved. The last thing she wanted was another sibling like Serkan! As she thought about the room, though...a room close to Da and Dee? Tugging on Suzu's poncho, she raised up on her tiptoes and whispered to him again. "(My room is beside theirs...I can share, or she can take it!)" As long as she wasn't like Serkan, it was okay with her. She liked people and little...er...people.
Tyr was bracing herself for what was to come; to the point of occassionally forgetting to breathe. First, it wasn't so bad...a cute human looking...but sleeping...baby. But then...then...that tail. Tyr didn't know she'd been chewing hard on her lip by this point, but upon seeing the girl's lower half she must've bit down hard. The skin on her lip split...and her crimson blood rose from the slice, freely tricking down to her chin. She didn't know she was bleeding....all she saw was the scales. "S...sna..snake..." She quivered, her eyes fluttering for a moment while her fingernails dug into the lip of the kitchen counter.
"GET IT AWAY FROM ME!!" Her blue eyes were as wide as saucers in fright as she cried out, her skin paler than a ghost. She was shaking so badly her knees gave out, sending the teenager awkwardly to the kitchen floor, her arms coming up to criss cross over her bowed head.

Suzu glanced over at Rae as she offered up her room and then looked at Armel to relay the message, "Sister-dearest offers to share or give up her room for the baby." He nodded once. There wasn't many ways you could misinterpret that wish.
He fidgeted a bit some of his jacket falling over his arm and revealing the cobra-head of wand that was 'attached' to Kaveri. Armel glanced down at it and quietly covered it back up before he began to reply to the two, "Dunno. We'll have to ask them about that I guess."
Of course right about then Tyr's yelling easily reaches the hallway where they were currently dwelling, "...I get the funny feeling Da showed Tyr the baby." Armel replied in an almost deadpan sort of tone. It would have been kind of Humorous if the situation didn't include Tyr sounding as if he were going into complete hysterics, "Should we go check on them?"
Pales quickly stepped back and recovered the baby. It almost as she expected it to as far as Tyr was concerned, but the volume of it seemed a bit more panicked than usual which concerned her.
The naga child, however, having not known Tyr was disturbed and upset by the other woman's screaming. Her small mouth opened wide and she returned the screaming in kind with a screaming wail of her own. After all what in the world did she do wrong? She was just idly catnapping. Why was everyone so mean?!
She glanced down at the bundle in her arms and then over to Tyr with a torn expression crossing her face. Pales obviously wanted to comfort both of them but couldn't go near her mate with the 'snake' in her arms. She coo'd at the child and bounced a bit while speaking in a calming voice, "Tyr, darling, it isn't like she is a complete snake. The poor girl can't help how she is." He knew it probably wouldn't work but he had to try and make Tyr see, "I do not sense an ominous spirit within her."
