Michael_Jones Bigby Wolf I don't like feeling stupid when people toss around terms like 'gnostic' and I realize I have no idea what they're talking about. So, hence, research. Excellent. So should I ever need to distract you for whatever reason I need just throw around some esoteric vocab and buy myself some time. Look! That coriaceous opsimath is munging my cicisbeo's thos with saccades of his unctuous nates!
If you don't like it, don't buy it!

I've got a good background in general comparative religion, but I know little about gnosticism and I haven't read the invisibles. Gimme a couple of days to formulate an argument or discussion topic.

It's all well and good to do some literary criticism, but let me ask you this, Jones: have you ever been rendered unconsious by a book? I don't mean having one thrown at you or used as a weapon by a living creature either. I mean a book ******** with your head so bad you actually pass out. Happened to me today. ******** scary.

I think you're gonna have to share the name of this book, Spider-ish (wo)Man.

Tad Ryerstad I think you're gonna have to share the name of this book, Spider-ish (wo)Man. Haunted by Chuck Palaniuk. People have been fainting and s**t at the readings he's been doing on the book tour for it and he's headed here next. Hoo hah! All the details are in my "Bibliophobia" thread.

People have been bouncing around about Pindy's comments regarding the different approaches to writing children's books. Give this essay (Pindy's Doreen's handler if you didn't know) another whirl in light of that.
