Well I borrowed the idea. It's hard to think up ressons why five teens with attitide are picked to be Rangers. Orginlly a Alien picked the five to fight this threat. I added in the agency for more support chars.

Young man uncovers artifact of great power which grants him superhuman powers...but they exact a price. Every time he transforms, he loses more and more of his emotions and concept of "self." Ultimately, the artifact will sap away his humanity from repeated use, and this scares him to no end. Nevertheless, he must use it to fight, even if it means losing his soul. Will he cling to his identity as a hot-blooded student, or will he become a silent, unemotional defender of Earth, alienating those who once knew him?

Daaamn I like that one alot. Sounds like a potentially dark series.

I think it would do better as an anime series though... Tokusatsu tends to be over-the-top in strangeness, if ya know what I mean.

If it were a one-shot movie or a mini series you could keep it from going too off track. Then again I've been hearing mixed reactions from that live action Guyver movie...
