Colby was nestled inside the den, her tail curled around her pup as the pup suckled away, drinking her mother’s milk. A warm tongue brushed over the newborn’s fur as Colby bathed the pup.
Gregori’s tail swayed a bit as he looked on at his new mate and daughter, pride evident in the way he stood. He never thought his life would come to this, especially when Colby was still a pup in some ways… But here she was, the mother of his little girl…

"How is she?" he asked, a little nervous at being around the newborn but so excited she was here.
Colby glanced up with sparkly silver eyes. "She's fine. Bathed and eating." She giggled a bit. The nursing pup was new to them both.
Gregori matched her gaze with his own silver one. 'How are you?"
