FreeArsenal Actually, the only reason why a commitment lasts, is because... it's a commitment. We are all mortals, that is true, but since we are... commitment=/=eternity -But- commitment=lifetime or set time put aside for it The druids, when they were married didn't promise their lives to one another. They promised to stay with one another until one of them didn't want to be with the other anymore.
They were still however commited to each other. When they were married that's the only person they were [supposed to be] with. Just because it doesn't fit your version of commitment doesn't therefore mean it's not commitment.

FreeArsenal I believe I stated.... Quote: commitment=lifetime or set time put aside for itIt was a misunderstanding. If you do consider that a set time then all relationships are commited. I'm not planning on breaking up with my boyfriend until one of us doesn't feel the same for the other. Which is kind of what I was pointing out.
Commitment doesn't always last.

Commitment doesn't always last.Actually, not really but I see this is ground that could stir something awkward and uncomfortable, so I will say no more, if you want to know just PM me and discuss it there.

I know exactly what you mean Jocken.
What I don't like is how people say stuff like, you don't understand unless you've done it...
To me, I'd put it this way... "Until I get involved, I will always understand."
It's more like, I'm a sociologists watching people in a biodome or something.
