I liked this episode too, yay! It's way too late to collect thoughts properly.

Lots of good lines in this episode. "He's not even a very good murderer." "I'm supposed to steal a jock- like, the underwear! Not like kidnap an athlete!"

Hey, it's the Reaper! Hi, Reaper!

Hey, cute football guy. Why'd you leave?

WEEVIL! Le sigh. Weevil was all happy working for Keith and then he went a messed it up. Sad face. Though, I do like that it wasn't the stereotypical 'bad kid gets job with good guy and is suddenly wonderfully good' thing.

Piz! I have irrational amounts of love for you. XD I liked when he said he wouldn't play his band all the time, then went on to note that his band was really quite good, if he does say so himself, and he does.

Silly Veronica, stalking is uncool, even when hot chicks do it. Not that Logan lying to Veronica was kosher, as it wasn't. But they both have issues. I'm glad they didn't just break up over it like they would on ever other show on television.

GUITAR HERO! twisted

Hey, the dean is that guy! He was on Jack and Bobby, wasn't he?

Then I go ahead and do it anyway.

"He's not even a very good murderer."

I loved that and the one Ronnie said like 'people look down on putting a tracking device in your love one's car but i think it's just cause they don't now how.'

I think Logan's got a gambling problem. sad

Yay Piz!!! I think I am going to like his talk show. I can't wait to see his character develop. The more I think about it the more I think that him and Veronica wont get together, cause the writers wouldn't make something that obvious and if they do, it'll only last 1-2 episode(s).

Liked the story line, pretty cool. Jock losing his playbook to his girlfriend.

Weevil, yay. I loved him as a detective. He was pretty good at it too. Guess he has also been around Veronica too much.

Boo LoVe. I'm getting impatient with the lines. They have no good lines together this season. And Logan is turning out to be the weak d**k that I thought he was. And by weak I mean too impulsive. Gambling, instead of going to see his girlfriend at work. He gets all defensive over the cell tracker, well don't date a detective and go to a gambling party without telling your girlfriend. And then Veronica gets all guilty over tracking him to his so-called surfing trip to Mexico. I know I seem a bit harsh but I have never been that big of a LoVe fan, except when they are broke-up they have good lines then.

Again with the raping, I thought V already solved most of it. I think it is kinda lame that they had to bring it back. It was a great plot, but they brought it back from the dead. They could have thought of something new.

On the brightside, 3x4 promo looks promising. Looks like Veronica/Keith/Logan have some good lines.

Anybody else wondering why the extreme lack of certain characters in this episode? I mean I got that Mac and Parker going to the gym was supposed to reference their friendship but why couldn't Veronica just go down there? I just thought of this, crazy theory but what if the dean's kid had done the raping, more just this one than the others, like a copycat. He clearly didn't have a problem blaming the girls for the car wreck, why not do this and piss off the guys? Just speculation of course.

It does seem like it, with the hiding and the lying. I think it's a better turn than alcoholism, which is where every other TV show would go. That's about all there is to be happy about.

Well, to be fair, it wasn't like he purposfully called from outside the party, to better hide his location. Which he should have done. Because duh, dude.

But. Veronica was right to feel guilty about the tracker and wrong to do it. And Logan was wrong to break dates just to gamble. There isn't a wrong and a right, here. They were both in the wrong. Just being a detective doesn't give her the right to do anything she wants.

This storyline doesn't feel like it's gonna last all season. Which, good, because that many rapes would just get tedious and lessen the impact of them. Veronica might step up her investigation, since it seems like the rapist is stepping up their activities as well.

Seriously, the feminist Claire, do we really think she'd go and get drunk at a frat or sorority party? So either the rapist specifically hunted her down, which, super creepy and, also, super bad. Or she's lying. Which I kind of think is what happened.

I assume the lack of certain characters is a cost thing. When they appear, you have to pay them, so they aren't in every episode to cut costs. Really, only Veronica needs to appear in every episode.

well let's not forget his dad (who was a murderer and sleep with his GF) died at the end of last season and one of his friends turned out to be a murderer/rapist too.
and his mom's still mia/dead

um yeah...you go ahead and gamble if it makes you feel a little better.

So I liked this episode. I liked that Weevil was in it. It was kind of cool to see him into the detective thing, and he was really good. I think his street smarts worked really well for him, but it's too bad that he's still aggressive and angry. But it ended happily for him, which is nice.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of Piz's show.

The guy who played the dean, Ed Begley, Jr.? He was on Boston Legal a couple of times, and it makes me laugh because on BL he was a professor who studied and collected Victorian erotica. rofl

As for Logan and Veronica, while their lines aren't as good as they have been, I like this episode for their relationship more than the previous couple of episodes. They're both minorly crazy in their own ways, and they know they have to work at it. But they really do care for each other, and it doesn't seem as weird to me as it did before. I also want to know what that song was that was playing at the end when they left the Help Desk.

I liked the play book storyline. I've seen the guy playing Pop EVERYWHERE it's crazy. xd There were a lot of turns, and the last one with the guy at Mercer's place was a really unexpected one. Quite funny. Poor Kirk, though, that sucked a lot for him. And Trish.

I liked that Veronica acknowledged her trust issues, but it would've been better if it the situations had been more unreasonable. Logan does need a life outside of Veronica, but him blowing her off like that felt out of character and I don't quite understand why he kept the gambling secret. I don't have a problem with the actual gambling because a perfect Logan would be boring, but it made no sense why he wouldn't just tell her or why he'd leave a message with his word choice of "getting lucky". That felt more like plot contrivance to me.

I did enjoy the end scene, but even that was tainted because it felt like Logan owed an apology too, but I guess him taking the initiative and going to her instead of going to Mexico helped. I hope Logan and L/V get better after this. Obviously L/V are going to have problems, I just want it to be more compelling and in character and having more connection to the episode instead of one clunky parallel to the MOTW and being put together by sloppy plot contrivances.

Logan has also been really subdued. This guy is usually a big snarky drama queen and has usually been more of a heart on his sleave guy or at least making snarky comments, and not brooding. I'd also like to see more of his family issues, I mean his dad died and while he hated the guy, it's still not an easy think to handle but there's been no mention.

I like Piz but I really hope he lays off the caffine. He needed to take it down a notch or two this ep, but still had good lines. I still cannot even imagine him with Veronica at all.

WEEVIL! I loved all of Weevil's scenes and his storyline. His temporary employment at Mars Investigations was so cute. I didn't quite get why he couldn't just go back and work at his uncle's so I'm going to fanwank that his uncle's shop wasn't exaclty respecatable and couldn't produce the needed documentation or something.

The MotW felt weak to me. It was just a bunch of sloppy red herrings and Veronica basically went around falsey accusing people. I did like her getting caught and having trouble covering for herself.

The millitant feminists are kind of entertaining, but if they are going to be the focus this season, it could be a problem, because obviously not all feminists are tough nosering "The Greeks are EVIL" type of girls and not all guys or even all Frat guys are like the Lampoon guys. Yes these people exist, but making them the foucs makes it all seem stereotypical. Where are normal reactions to the rapes?

This ep was mostly fun and I enjoyed it, but it felt pretty much like a filler. I hope this show doesn't stay all fun and breezy all season and that Logan becomes himself again. I also want Veronica to become less bitchy and above it all. I still love her, but I've had some issues with her attitude.

Not that anybody cares, but that song I was looking for is called "Fidelity" by Regina Spektor, and I like her the more I listen.

I know that, but I'm not a shipper and in some ways 2 wrongs do make a right. Logan is just one of those people that you can trust but with caution. He isn't one of those people who you don't question anything he says. If he says the moon is made of cheese you should question that, clearly a lie or the rantings of a crazy person. So Veronica was right to cell track him in my opinion.(And this is just that, my opinion.)

Well you were right about Claire lieing. The only thing that gets on my nerves is the sheer stupidity of the girls who thought it was the soriety. "Veronica is the one who got them off the hook! She's responsible for the rapes, we hate he because she doesn't like to point the finger at random people and yell 'rape' like a five year old" They are so annoying.
