So Zoids are robot animals right? Well... I decided to draw one as a plain animal. biggrin Of course I drew the Murasame Liger. Anyway if you still haven't grasp what I'm saying... just look at the image.

Oh wow! That's pretty awesome! I love it. XD He looks so playful too! I love seeing Zoids like this! (we really need a specific term for them) I doodled a few toony ones once, but they got sent to Tilly. XD; *doesn't remember them well now*

I like your style of shading, what'd you use?
Caps as stripes, not sure if I've done that before. Hrm...now you're feeding my art muse when I have something else I need to get done for a deadline. Curse you!
I suppose these are the reverse of the Zoidgirls!

Hehe, well I've used the caps as stripes since a Liger is techincally a half tiger half lion. biggrin
And the program I've used was Photoshop CS2.
Oh god.. the Zoids girls... they creeped the shell out of me. (Obvious Ninja Turtle reference there. biggrin )
Oh and Pointytilly, sorry for feeding your muse when you have a deadline... I really know that annoying feeling of "Oh but I wanna draw this! ... But I have to draw that..."
And.... the main reason for me doing this is cause I'm not very good at drawing robots. lol
I miss my Zoids action figures... Now those were fun to draw. Even if they didn't move much. Why did I leave them at home? Oh yeah... No place here in the apt for 10 zoids...

Here's some more back to animal artwork. First up, the shadow fox. biggrin  And then what was supposed to be the Koenig Wolf, but I never managed to color it. (PS, I'm only typing Koenig because I don't have the double dot thing that goes on top of the o.)

The Shadow Fox is so amusingly serious-looking. I've gotten used to them being all ":D" from plink's Fox on MMM...the color's nice too. Photoshop again? It's smooth enough to look almost oC to me...
You should color the KW! Someday.

Hehe, Thanks. The shadow wolf was colored in Open Canvas and I might color the Koenig Wolf if I can get out of the lazyness that's hit me.

Wow, these are really awesome. I've attempted one or two in oekaki a while ago, but I'm not very good with oekaki X.x
I should try in Photoshop. Or make Zoid cosplays with my breedable shop art or something, lol.
Anyways, I call them Furry Zoids. Although that wouldn't really work with Zoids like the Cannon and Missile Tortoises, or the Viper one or the Death Stinger, since they aren't really furry.
