I had district last month! It was soooo fun! I wish i could try out for state, but im only a 7th grader. -sigh- My time will come for state soon enough

I made districat in 8th grade. I was second chair horn of eight people and the first chair person was my satnd partner from my band class. We were stuck together again. Usually I was first chair in class, but I screwed up my audition. 2nd chair wasn't band though and I had soooooooooo much fun. I wanted to try out for disctrict this year as a freshman in high school, but I recently moved and I wouldn't have been able to attend. burning_eyes

I made it into all-state, we don't have districts here. Our all-state is next weekend!

I play oboe, i auditioned for honorband which is the district band and i made it exclaim biggrin biggrin biggrin

SIGHHHH. I auditioned December 8th where I waited (stupidly) for 6 hours in order to see what I got. I got 10th chair out of about 92 people who auditioned. : I thought I had improved by a lot so it was a bummer. But I'm first chair in the bottom band.. ;--;
