Is it possible for the hymen to be inside the v****a? I mean if you look at it, you won't be able to see the hymen?

Yes, the adult v****a has hair. Perfectly normal (it would be weirder if she had not grown any hair xp ).

Invisible Hippie But... I always thought it was inside.... Most people think that. I think the hymen is probably one of the most misunderstood things about the female body.

LorienLlewellyn Yes, the adult v****a has hair. Perfectly normal (it would be weirder if she had not grown any hair xp ). that's reassuring. I always hear about the pubic mound but not about the hair around the v****a and I was afraid I was one of those extra hairy woman down there. But I'm not, hoo-rah!

Wow, that's interesting. I'm 22 and I didn't even know what one looked like! When I lost my virginity, I never bled, so I assume that I must have torn mine long before I became sexually active. How, I'm not sure, but I can't recall ever noticing one on myself, even before I had sex.

Yup, it is a trend, just like wearing pants that hang down to your knees. xp Some people do it, and some do not. It's a fairly recent fad too. Women did not always shave their pubic hair. Like most fads, this one will probably die and be reborn a few times.

How, I'm not sure, but I can't recall ever noticing one on myself, even before I had sex. I am the same way. I did not have any pain or bleeding the first time I had sex. I have no idea when and how I first tore my hymen. Could have been a tampon, could have been gym class. I did not have pain or blood either way.
