An odd question... It varies because of the different taste you have in music, but most songs are fun to play if they're by a band you like...

The others are right. It's all down to tastes. However, if you're looking for an easy, but uplifting song, then why not the Mission Impossible theme?

Tate is big thing when choosing a song to play, but also whether you want to play slap, pingerpicking, with a pick or thumb picking. Depending on which style you like or want to hone. Most funk has slap in it. I love some blues or motown when doing pingerpicking. Playing with a pick is always fun, and works well with most stuff. And thumb picking is good for acoustic songs. But it's entirely up to you. XxX

crewpirate depends, but check out some Rush, Claypool, some funk or disco, or Yes. They have some good and crazy stuff. Totally. I actually got the chance to meet Chris Squire (bassist for Yes) and play his bass. That thing is like heaven manifested in a 15 pound piece of wood.
