LOL...2 weeks ago whee

First I appreciate the comments I received on "My Hubby's Gone Away" Topic, sorry I never reposted...

Well the good news....On sept 26 at 3pm I had a beautiful 9lb little boy, that we called Cameron Dayton.

I ended up having to have a c-section, Cameron was too high, face up and my pelvis was to small for him. But since he ended up being 9lbs I was kinnda glad to have the section xd

I was one of the lucky ones and recovered very quickly from the section, when my Doctor saw me the next morning she couldn't beleive I was sat up in bed nursing him already.

My husband was suppose to call as soon as I was done in recovery but his timming was off and I was still in recovery when he called, so it was 2 hours later before he found out he had a beautiful little boy.

My familys been great, I'm living with my Mom till Gailen gets home Xmas time, by then our new house will be ready to move into too.

He calls every night and if I don't have new pictures of Cameron posted to our photobucket site I get an ear full xd

He'll be home on the 29 of Oct for 7 days, and me and Cameron are both anxiously awaiting his arrival.

Cameron is doing wonderful, we are breastfeeding and its going well. I just started yesterday expressing milk off to store and he took to the bottle no problem and went back to my breast with no problem, hopefully that will continue.

He's a little angel, he sleeps anywhere from 3 to 4 hours during the day at the time and at least once a night he sleeps for almost 5 hours eek . Been trying to grab my sleep when he sleeps but that doesn't always work...lol...last night he went down at 10pm, I got in bed at 1am and was still awake at 3am when he got up for a feeding. xp

Wow this is the most of wrote on Gaia since he was born...*sneaks a glance into the nursery* think I should go get some housework done since hes being so quiet....or better yet get something to eat whee

Oh, theres always pictures being posted to our photobucket site, if your interested feel free to check it out heart LOL...the pictures are all in daily folders so Gailen knows what hes already looked at and whats new 4laugh

Congratulations!

Glad to hear that Mom and baby are both doing well! 3nodding

That's awesome that you've been able to switch between bottle and breastfeeding. I wasn't able to do that with either of my girls. rolleyes

What a cutie!
Sounds as though everything is going well, maybe not perfect, but who gets that?
I am so glad you have your mom. They can be pains in the neck, but also invaluable - just ask Jen rolleyes

heart Squeeee!!! heart
Cameron has the most adorable dimples I think I've ever seen on a baby! What a cutie-pie! Congratulations to the lucky Mommy and Daddy - and I'm glad to hear Gailen will get to meet the wee guy soon.

And I second Jen - switching off between breast and bottle? I'm amazed! My son always took bottles and the Baby Bjorn holder as a personal insult. He also took blankets over his head during feedings as an insult. sweatdrop

*hugs her Mom* Yes, I'm over there at least once a week. *giggles*

Yvaine- I hear ya there. The first one was a realativly good nurser, and I didn't even have any problems nursing her in the bathroom the time we went to Lagoon (local amusement park). This second one is a pill and I can't get her to nurse unless we're home or at Grandma's and in sidline position. rolleyes She also thinks that blankets over the head are insulting. *laughs*

So far anyway...lol...only had him on the bottle twice, but we are using a dummie since he has a bad habit of wanting to fall asleep nursing and can't let him do that all the time wink

Lol....yes they can, so far its been good, a couple of things I wish she didn't do but don't think shes doing them to be bad. She picks him up when hes fussing quicker than I do and if its time he should be going to bed shes always taking him up whee

He gets those from his Dad heart

I'm using the playtex nurser, so far so good. Cameron could care less if his face was covered as long as he gets my n****e hes a happy camper lol

Well think thats everyone...lol...I like to respond to everyone individually...personal habit that usually annoys the people in the exchange xd

Well we are doing great, hes sleeping wonderfully...goes to bed 10pmish and then wakes for a feeding 4-5 hours later, stays up for an hour or two and back to bed till 8-9am.

We've had a couple of rough nights when I was really tierd and I ended up crying while hes nursing but I know that comes with the terriority.

We went to our first breastfeeding class yesterday and that was helpful talking to other Moms who are experiencing what I am.

Oh my what a cutie! I love the photo of him with the cat. It's almost like that cats is saying "Dude this is my spot ^>_<^" hehe. It's good that he's not giving you problems feeding! My babygirl was a biter right from the start, by the time WIC had a pump for me my milk had dried up. ;_;
He is just so cute! Congratulations!
