Okay then, I'll rant about the rig I plan to get next so that I can finally upgrade my Squier P / Fender Rumble 15 beginners pack to a Schecter Stiletto Deluxe-4 Bass with a Fender Bassman 150. I bet a lot of you have stacks and all, but I was barely able to afford my 300$ beginner's pack.

Heh, I'm in the same situation as you Absolut. I was barely able to afford my craptastic $100 bass, let alone the amp >_< It's only a 20 watt or so amp... good for practice and stuff, but it'll never work if I ever happen to play a gig.

i bought a fender starter kit thingier almost exactly one year ago, and since then its all worked fine. however, i felt the need to purchase a nice 12", 50W ampeg(AMPEG==AWESOME) combo amp ide seen and played at a local music shop. however, the day i go in to tell the sales folk that i wanted them to hold it because i was gonna bring my mom in later that day to sign the shiz to buy this thing... you guessed it - THEY'D SOLD IT!! i was mored pissed than ide been in a while. o well, not like im gonna be playing any gigs anytime soon, so i got over it relatively quickly... but jeebus there was a good week there where i was more steamed than an overloaded locomotive.

Well, I'm preparing to sell my Ampeg B2R and GK 410, I'm going to get one of the new Kustom GrooveBass heads, and an Avatar 410 topped off with an Avatar 212. I can't wait.
