So, I live in Philadelphia and there are a shitload of concerts going on in all different places that I end up going to just because. I don't care very much about the band, I just like the enviroment.
So anyway, the sunday night before RHCP/TMV Sparta will be here. Sparta will be playing at a small venue where I can get like, right up front. I want to go just to be like "HEY, THOSE ARE THE WHITE PEOPLE FROM ATDI!" and keep telling them to play ATDI songs and asking them why they don't dance and where Cedric is and why they don't do awsome guitar solos and s**t.
I've had many chances to see Sparta but resisted knowing I'd do this, but this would be a very special show: I'd be seeing TMV the next day and we're kidnapping my favorourite gaian for the weekend, so he can jeer with me!
So, if I spend 20$ on a ticket to Sparta am I going to hell or betraying my undying love of ATDI? 'Cause like, I thnk we're all kinda aware that Sparta's not that good. .___.;

seeing sparta and then the mars volta right after is probably as close as you can get to seeing at the drive-in live now.

I like Sparta, just nowhere near as much as ATDI or The Mars Volta. I am sure Jim Ward would cry though, hes a baby.

God I hate Sparta. They played a small club in San Francisco and I thought about going just to yell at them.
