FIRST, NO I AM NOT BACK, ORIGINALLY I WAS GOING TO BE HERE THREE MOTNHS NOW ONLY THREE DAYS. ONCEI IVE POSTED ABIT, GOT MY WINGS, I M GOING TO QUIT THE GUILD AND GET MYSLEF BANNED SO I AM NOT TEMPTED COME BACK!!!!
Myth:
Foreign words are taking over the japanese language! you can see katakan evrywhere!
TRUTH:
1) as new technology is invented, we borrow english words (or european language words) tweak them, and use them. though people will say kyuuto, kawaii is more common. no one will say "aguri" (ugly) or "shinpuru" (simple) because we have those words. only technology, new inventions, foods, thing like that are used, and with so much stuff, there are many words borrowed (words about sex also are usually borrowed ex. b*****b= fechi (shortened of ferachio (fellatio))
2) AMNY WORDS WRITTEN KATAKANA ARE NATIVE JAPANESE, THAT HAVE KANJI, OR HIRAGANA! IT IS USUALLY FOR: EMPHASIS, CUTENESS OR USUALLY BECUASE THE WORD IS STRONG!
i hope you know now we are not being absorbed by english!

Yeah... some people can be pretty dumb when it comes to katakana. Katakana is for foreign words, but it can also be the equivelent to italics.
Thanks Aiko for all of the help you gave everyone here. We wish you luck with your wings and such. ^^
