Summer 2005 Swimsuit Contest
Type of contest: Character contest (avatar, original) Prize: Full color artwork of the winner with the right swimsuit Duration: Ends July 1st Requirements: Female characters only. If you have a male avatar and want to enter use the Gaia avatar creator or avatar simulator to get a female version of your avatar first. You MUST be a member of this guild to enter. Other: You must provide images of your character and the swimsuit she will wear. You can add a description to help visualize what you mean but I will not accept description only entries.

Sounds like a fun idea. I assume the winner will be picked similar to an avatar contest, though that might be difficult having to judge how a suit would fit on a character unless very good descriptions were given.
Also are there any limits to "swimsuit" design? For instance, does it have to be an actual swimsuit or can it be like DOAX where "normal" clothes were used for some.
I'm glad I just put the finishing touches on the female "clone" of my avatar I'll probably enter the only question is what she'll wear. biggrin

I just hope I can put it into practice. No limits to swim wear since it seems more appropiate to call it that. As for normal clothes used as swimsuits well nope. For example as much as I liked Helena's underwear that wasn't a swimsuit. Also Ayane and Hitomi (probably a few other girls too) had pants and shirts which are appropiate for the beach but they are not for swimming. If anyone thinks this contest should be made RP style then let me know. It would make the voting easier as I would select some judges and the contestants would have to roleplay a series of events. (like most swimsuit contests are) Events like talent, modelling of course, maybe even a wet t-shirt contest that is acceptable by the TOS and some other cool stuff.

Or maybe you'll be lucky enough to find the perfect swimsuit. ^^

So would beach wear include sarhongs (sp?) and stuff like that over the swimsuits?

You can have the sarongs for the art piece, but remember two things, 1 it is a swimsuit competition and 2 as long as you let me know you want a slightly different look for the artwork I'm ok ^^.
Perhaps if it's done roleplaying (the contest I mean) you can walk with your sarong then take it out kinda like the miss universe swimsuit competition. ^^

This is a few pieces so bear with me. I like this top, on the left, but I would like to swap the black in it for red and the white to black. Though the shoulder seams should be left black. Though the colors in the suit on the right are wrong the design of this top gives som idea what I am meaning. As shown in the picture I usually wear the top with the zipper undone until I need to do it up, its cooler that way xd This bottom, the black can be left as is but I want the white to be red. Since this is the suit I would use for watersports I need goggles too. On the beach I don't wear my glasses and I usually pull my hair into a tight braid, I also just wear the goggles around my neck until I need them. Thanks to Newport News for the suit images

Hello, every ...
Um Miss Zairyo, where is everybody else?Ok everyone, the ONLY contestant that bothers to show up is coming this way wearing a very cute black and red two piece swimsuit. Her cat Taro is following her closely. Reminds me of Hewie from Haunting Grounds for some reason.

Kya!!!
Taro! Bad kitty! As Kyoko walks Taro jumps up and down trying to catch something. Apparently the zipper was making a noise which Taro seems attracted to. Taro jumps and catches the ring thing and pulls the zipper down. Everyone got a nosebleed.

That is a very cute comic Miss Zairyo. smile I love Taro but he can be a naughty kitty sometimes. Looking at it I came up with lines I would say in the two frames I am in biggrin Frame 2: Hello, every ... Um Miss Zairyo, where is everybody else? Frame 3: Kya!!! Taro! Bad kitty!
