How ridiculous. How horrible. How bothersome.
Xipetotec's stupidity was really taxing. Honestly now. He couldn't get anything right. Mable was dead. She was supposed to be dead. He specifically said Cizin and Coatlicue had killed her. So why was the little 'darling' around? In Phib's Pack noneless!
She could have killed something she was so annoyed. Except that her recent burst of anger had driven all possible targets from the land surrounding her. Like that helped any. Mable had to die, and stay dead.
Oh a lighter note atleast she now would be able to kill her. The thought was somewhat reassuring. Atleast now one of her minor goals was given back to her. Not that murdering her would be very difficult. The idiot beta was useless when it came to everything, self defence was completly out of the question.
Eyes darting around wickedly Meskeet slunk slowly along the stream that seperated a corner of her newly gained territory from the larger chunk. As needed a few things before she would be ready to send Mable to her final grave. Some things seemed to just fall in your lap, but others weren't too far behind.

It was customary to revisit the enemy. So important to do so in fact that the cougar had sent him out to do it. It was one thing to simply ask a favor and qute another to deliberately shove him out into this world, asking for 'information' and a little talk. Yet they couldn't quite be considered enemies now could they? In fact they had hardly met, Xan's temper not helping one bit. It was clear, however, that the seer - which was now apparent she was - had thought Kiros was a bit stupid. It seemed that the femme drove more love for the feline race, despicable though they were, than she did her own kind. In fact Kiros wouldn't be surprised if she was planning on murdering kin this very moment.
Then again, had he not done the same. Sources as of late were telling him otherwise. Yet one still can't help but wonder and Xan had said. . .
What is it with girl's in rivers? Stream. Its just a stream. Women and water, then.
By now, of course, Kiros had spotted the female they had been looking for. She was, of course, near water.

Whether or not Meskeet had intended to be near water again couldn't be said. In truth she put little effort into planning where she would be when she met with others, though it wouldn't kill her to start. Appearance was everything, some said. But she'd leave extravagant enterences for later. At the moment, she had a visitor.
Glancing up towards the familiar form she stopped her absent stroll and sat by the stream. He'd interested her somewhat the first time she'd seen him. His cougar friend by far seemed more entertaining though.
She would settle none the less.
"Surprise?"

Kiros cocked a furry brow at her. He kept his tail medium hight, swaying so little it appeared to be at a stand still. It was clear he was neither happy nor dissapointed to see her figure standing there. It was the type of attitude he seemed to adress most with. Except for him. Kiros had half a mind to think the great 'King' was a bit dense, liking Amelie much more so, when Xan found it the other way around. It was, of course, because of the simple competition for power. Xan liked those tough, while Kiros found Phib's hard nature rather uneccessary - guarding Amelie with his life when it was rather apparent that she did not need the protection. Any wolf that had half a mind to try and harm that wolf was a fool. She was hardly a threat, and certainly no pleasure could be derived from ending her life. Surely even Xan saw this much?
Surprised? The wolf repeated, watching the female with moderate interest. "In what context do you mean?"
Surprised to see her? Hardly. What, then, was he surprised about. Perhaps it was that he had trecked all this way just too see her. Something about her nature intrigued even he, and so his other half had accompanied him on a detour of their long journey. It was indeed, however, very surprising that she was near water. So much like Kara yet there seemed to be a deviance there that the wolf did not posses.
"I don't believe we ever got a name," Xan interupted, tail instantly rising in the switch of personality.

Meskeet smirked good humoredly. Most wolves she greatly detested. This split wolf however, thought about things. And what a good deal of things he bothered to think about too. He was amusing. Or rather both parts were.
"My name's Meskeet." She stated, ignoring the first question. Better to let him figure it out than the take away all the fun.
"How can I help you today?" Help was rarely a think offered, and so it was only a question. But he obviously had something on his mind to go through all the trouble of finding her. That said things about him. The alpha side seemed more enticing than the cautious one.
Atleast with Xan she didn't have to worry about offending someone meaningless.

Kiros ignored Xan’s little outburst, never understanding the ‘alpha’s’ wish to know names. It was a pointless thing, really. It was faces you really needed to memorize. Names only received you trouble, it was best not to know them. This way if one asked him whether he knew a ‘this’ or ‘that’ he could simply respond with a no and still remain completely in truth. He also ignored the seer’s little question. Kiros tended to do a lot of word swinging when it came to other wolves. Perhaps it was why no one wished to talk to him, all the better.
What do you think? Can’t say yet. You’re the mastermind. It’s the both of us that are committed. We have a pup to feed. Surely we can work something.
It was better for Xan to do the talking. All the striking of deals, secret acts had always been between him and the cougar – never Kiros. So in this instance it was time for him once again to act out. Regardless of whether or not it was ethical, he needed to get back to the adolescent, and be in fit shape to train him in such adult fashions. The younger had grown far to fast, needed more sooner than expected. Plus he still insisted on hounding after Xan’s every moon. It didn’t make much difference that the pup’s family was as crazy as he was. Too much more of this and Xan’s small patience would be dwindled. The adolescent would be on his own to hunt, hopefully before the pair got to involved in any such work.
“I’ve come here on request,” Xan began, his ears flicked back dangerously. “The cougar wants to know just what you’re plotting.” There was a long pause as the wolf squared himself up, clearing poised for a threatening move if anything came to it. That anything being an insult to his pride. “And he suggests I find an ally before things go tipsy.”

Meskeet glanced up unconcerned at two birds as they flew past. "What I'm plotting? Oh..this and that."
Surely none of them assumed she'd spill it all to whomever asked? Even a cougar did little to frighten her now. There was more to being a seer than reading minds. Besides, what excatly would they like to know? The hit list? The lies and carefully strung plans? Who was next to be kidnapped? It was all her business, not a big bad kitty cat's.
"But if it's allies you need I'm honored you'd come looking for me." She practically purred it. She Meskeet was odd these days. She'd ventured far from her stern ways lately. A prime example of why she'd never reproduce again. It made you act funny.
"What precisely would you need an ally for?"

She's not any help to us. No, not really. Well? I'm not playing her little game. I don't like games. Or lies, or deceit. She can take her little game and shove up her a**. Just be careful she doesn't take it out on you.
Xan laughed at his other half. Such funny things he came up with. Yes indeed, no more little Xan toy for this one. If she wasn't doing any talking he didn't need to either. As far as he was concerned it was about time to trot out of this little party anyway.
"It was a suggestion." It was a firm and clear statement meant to tell her to back off. "Allies can be used for this and that." He gave her a sharp grin and then slunk away. "If you want to reconsider, be my guest." Omega style. A dirty backstabbing one anyway.

Meskeet laughed. She actually full out laughed. But not before he'd entirely slunk away.
Some wolves were far too sensitive for their own good. And she found this one in particular to be most amusing. The fact that she'd heard the conversation between Kiros and Xan didn't help.
Chasing after him, and getting rid of her grin in the process, Meskeet rounded infront of the blue and brown wolf.
"Surprise me. I have a few things to take care of in the Outrider Pack. If ever you should feel the desire to bother anyone you won't have trouble finding me."
