Brock opened his mouth wide with a big yawn, getting to his feet he stretched and then began to look around. It appeared to be mid-afternoon in the forest and the golden light filtered in through the trees. He blinked a few times in quick succession from looking into the blinding light and then checked out his surroundings. He appeared to be in a small glade, he had been lying at the base of a large tree and the grass was pressed down in a circle showing where he had been laying. The noises of the forest began to reach him and he heard the birds chirping and the leaves rustling. A light breeze blew towards him and carried many scents on it, curious as the young pup was he started off in the direction of one of the scents he had picked out.

The afternoon weather wasn't too bad, the sun's rays warmed him up. For a moment there, it felt like he was the only one alive on this land. That was how quiet to Noah it was. Everything looked so new to him, like if he has never seen them before, the light does really make things stand out. From far he spotted another, but Noah wasn't the type to approach others. He was more the type to wait for others to come to him.

It was a pup also, his sharp eyes could see it. At first it was lying in one spot, then after a while it stood up and started to walk in his directions. Noah was sitting on a hill, that was always fun to roll down. Today though, he didn't feel like moving much. It was one of those days where he would just sit and relax himself. This would be the second wolf he had met on this land, that is if the yellow-ish, gold-ish pup decides to talk.

His stomache growled, you could probably hear it in this silence. Even with the wind howling hard, it was still so quiet. What was there to eat on this land. How will he find food. Noah was on his own, although he'll not give up that easily. Maybe Noah wil come across someone who knows exactly where and how to find good food.

((I can bring Gavan into play with us as well if you want, he's my other wolf and is currently a teen.))

The gold and black male continued onwards his nose to the ground searching for the source to the scent he had picked up from the breeze, it was familiar to him and yet it was also new. Pausing for a moment he attempted to figure out what the scent was without finding it, it smelled like him and yet different. Brock smiled, maybe it was another puppy like him. Resuming this hunt he started up a small slope and noticed the scent was getting stronger, he became oblivious to everything around him except the scent, so much so that he bumped right into something. Looking up he stopped, a bright red wolf was in front of him. Sniffing the air he smiled and his tail started waving madly, he had found the source of his scent it was this red wolf. “Hi, I’m Brock. Who are you?”

Being pushed back wasn't something Noah had expected. Noah lost track of the other pup, then suddenly he appeared over the hill and end up nearly running him over. For some reason, everyone always started off with a sentence like 'Hi! I'm ____'. Although, he knew one day there will be a wolf who will say 'Get out of my way!' unlike most other nice wolves. He smiled weakly and sat up straight. "I'm Noah," looking at Brock.

His sniffed Brock and yes he did almost smell like himself. It was strange, does all young wolves have the same scent or is it just between the two of them. Maybe this was one of his siblings. It was either his only brother or not. Noah wasn't looking for his family or planning to go back. So no point to wonder why they smell almost the same.

His tail still waving madly Brock listened to the red wolf’s name. He was very happy, having started out alone only minutes ago and now finding a new friend to play with. He was just about to ask Noah if he would like to play when he heard a soft growling noise, looking around the gold and black male didn’t see anything that could have made the noise. Turning back to his new friend he started to speak once more only to be cut off again by the sound. Noticing this time that it was very close he looked around again and still couldn’t find the source of the sound, but then it happened once more. Suddenly Brock realized that it was his own stomach and that he was hungry. Turning back to Noah and still grinning he finally spoke, “I’m hungry do you know how to get food?”

Gavan walked slowly through the forest not worried about anything in particular, he had decided to leave the den and journey out and enjoy the day rather than lounging about and sun bathing. Still young although not so much as he once was the albino male decided to catch some prey for his pack, he smiled to himself realizing that Cali would likely need it what with the pups she was expecting. Taking in the scents nearby Gavan took note of a rabbit that was up wind. Assuming his stalking stance he started off for it making sure to stay up wind as Zag had taught him.

Shocked at how their thoughts were related too. "I'm hungry myself, plus I was just thinking of looking for someone to get us food," nodding at his friend. His ears stood erected, hearing something very close by. Sniffing the air, Noah could tell it was another of his kind, except bigger. Letting his eyes scan the land, his red orbs caught sight of another wolf. "Maybe that other can help us..." Noah said as he used his nose to point towards a rather pale wolf with a bit of pink splotches. Although Noah wasn't sure if they should ask a stranger to teach them how to hunt.

A crazy idea came through into Noah's mind, he smirked. "Hey, why don't we follow him and watch what he does." The young red pup always had something going on in his little head. One day he would be one to help an alpha lead a group. Probably the sidekick or assistant of the leader. "It's up to you if you wnat to have it that way," smiling at Brock, "Or we could just go up to him and ask for help..." Noah liked having adventures and stalking others more than just plainly going up to them.

Cocking his head to the side Brock considered this idea. He glanced over to the white wolf in the distance that was abviously hunting something. The pale wolf looked pretty big in comparison to Noah and himself and Brock was wary of provoking it's wath. However he was hungry as his stomach stated once more with a growl. "Okay, I guess we could follow that wolf. But we need to hide real good so it doesn't see us."

Gavan was enjoying his hunt, he was closing in on the hare and in mere moments he would be in range to pounce. Staying low to the ground and attempting to blend in with the underbrush (fairly useless for him considering his coloring). It was then that his luck changed, along with the wind. At that very moment the direction of the wind decided to change blowing his scent right at the large rabbit sending it bounding off into the dense forest. "Well there goes dinner."

Karina sniffed the river cautiously. Since having been seperated from her parents several days earlier, she had accomplished much, yet neglected to do some of the most important things. Although she had met many wolves whose accents and mannerisms were different, and seen many new things, she had yet to wash the filth, and probably disease, as well, clinging to her coat from her former home. She stuck one bloodred paw in, and yanked it back out, horrified at the frigid temperature. Shutting her eyes, gritting her teeth, and baring it, she leapt in all at once, only to jump back out, yelping in dismay.

She rolled on her back in boredom, deciding at last not to go in, waving her burgundy forepaws above her head, allowing sparkling droplets of water hit her square in the forehead. Wriggling around on the sun-warmed grass, she hoped she could rub off at least some of the dirt, now turned to mud. Sighing, Karina straightened up, twigs and bits of grass clinging to her once pearly white and red fur. "I wish something exciting would happen." Mused the pup.
