um.. actually, i think it's because it's ramen in japanese. the country of japan is islands, right? and they got "connected" to the u.s. or whatever before korea did, because they were closer. and since japan got there earlier and stuff, americans know it as ramen. and japanese people can't pronounce ramyun...

about the rice thing.... i actually eat rice only once a day on a week day, 'cause i eat muffins or whatever in the morning 'cause i never have time to eat a decent breakfast, i eat at school during lunch, and i don't exactly bring rice and kimchee to school... they smell too much... korean food (and a bunch of other asian food...) have srong smell, you know? and sometimes, i don't even eat rice for dinner. my mom might be too tired to cook or something, then we order pizza or my brother makes something...

sometimes, my brother eats mayo with rice... and this one time, he added raw egg to that... he's really into pb right now, and he just eats it plain, the whole jar in a week.... kinda scares me... (wow, i have lots of "..."s here... ... ugh)

right. so i'll stop babbling on and on since people probably don't care what i've got to say about the world--i've lost it now.... *rocks come flying and hit me and i bleed* right.. sorry, i'm kinda crazy.. sweatdrop
