Sikitu lay there basking in the warm sun thinking of her previous acts with Usu. She didn't feel any diffnert... But maybe that'd come in time. She'd never had any cubs this would be her first litter if infact what she did with Usu took. She really regrett what she did, how they... She shook her head. She wouldn't think about it. She'd continue on until she recived the reoccurances.

Amaterasu picked her way across the savannah, ever aware of her surroundings. These were strange lands to her, and danger could lie on the other side of any patch of particularly tall grass, or on the other side of any tree... at least the sun is nice... she thought, stopping for a moment to enjoy the warm sun. Amaterasu lifted her head skyward, and saw the clouds floating above her through those silver eyes. After a moment of enjoyment, she was caught up with a bit of caution again, and decided it'd be wiser to keep moving, slowly, to keep her energy. She spotted something on the horizon, but decided to continue moving in its direction. It must be just a rock... she thought, reassuring herself.

Sikki moved slightly from her position and let out a large very unlady like yawn. She wanted so much for someone to lay and cuddle with her. How she missed Usu really in the end of it all. It was nice the warmth they were able to create together, so much so that she wish that someone, anyone would just come and lay with her. She wanted that special someone now... more than ever.

The "rock" moved. Amaterasu froze, but she was downwind of whatever the creature on the horizon was, and it wasn't a lion, or even a predator. What can it hurt, I'll fight if it wants to hurt me, and I'll win too. With this self-ignited boldness born deep within her, she continued on, unflinchingly, until she could see that this creature had rainbows on it. each step she came closer to it gave away what it was more and more... another maned wolf. It had been so long since she had seen another of her own kind, she yipped in joy with a small hop.

Sikki froze when she heard a yip. There was another, pure white maned wolf starring at her. Still a good distance away, but still another one of her kind. Sikki put her nose to the air, nothing. She was upwind of her. She'd let the other get closer until she even attempted to greet them. But until then she'd work on clearing all her thoughts of Usu. She didn't want to have that bogging down her mind when there was another to meet and possibley bring to follow her.

Amaterasu went into a jog, hardly able to control her happiness. She had been plagued by lonliness for the longest time and here was another maned wolf! It was her lucky day. She slowed and shook her head slightly to clear it. Charging was typically not a good way to greet another wolf. She went at a pretty quick pace, but not too fast, tail wagging happily the whole way to show she was no danger. She was gaining ground fairly quickly, but she considered the time between when she yipped and this point enough time for the other wolf to prepare itself. She could hardly wait to meet it
