well, in middle school we had our uniforms- blue jacket, white dress shirt, grey pants. for marching, no dress shirt and an overlay.
for high school, for concerts guys are in tuxes (they look so cute in their tuxes! <3) and girls wear black, floor length short sleeved dresses. They're really not that bad, but I can't wear heels because I really don't want to chance trying to carry my tuba while wearing three inch heels. xD.
but we basically have really cool marching uniforms. Over the last two years our school has gotten all new dresses, tuxes, and marching uniforms. They're really nice uniforms too. biggrin

What on earth?
We've got black pants, white dress shirt, and a vest.
Not to mention our Dinkles/heels.

Last year was the first year we were supposed to have uniform dresses...it didn't work too well. we revolted. They were itchy uncomfortable, and the shirt thingy was weird. This year, we are going to have dresses with weird arm hangy downy thingies. not sure how I'm going to play trombone with that.
The guys are lucky...they get tuxes. I miss middle school. I got to wear a tux too.
but hey, at least they're black.

i like our dresses and our tuxes. its pretty plain, its just a black dress, but its verry pretty just to dress the part. i likey my black dress!!! uhhmm well, the boys tuxes are pretty much just any tux they own. but its gotta be all black. we got new stuff from about 3-4 years back. i dont remeber that the ugly stuff were before. though the boys tuxes hasnt changed one bit

We all have tuxes. Guys and girls.
However, we make your BD let us girls wear dresses during the Spring Concert. But for everything else (holiday, winter, and festival, aka lgpe) we wear tuxes...

Guys: We have a set of tuxes in the uniform room. They come with jacket and cumberbun. They wear the pants from their marching uniform, their marching shoes, black socks, and a bow tie is provided at the time of the performance. They have to get their own tux shirt, though.
Girls: We have more freedom. :] Some wear a black dress, which has to have at least shoulder caps and should be at least fingertip length. (So it meets school dress code) Some wear a black top, again with at least shoulder caps, and full length black dress pants or black skirt that goes to at least the fingertips. Shoes must be black, close toed, and not slip on.

I like our uniforms. Even though everyone hates them >.>.. I don't really understand why though.. They look nice.. Just 'cos the teacher makes us order them like.. 3-4 sizes bigger, doesn't really mean anything.. Here was the uniform last year (I'm in the middle ;]). I don't have a picture for this year yet =P

For my high school concert band, we wear a red blazer and our own choice of black bottoms and white dress shirt. The red blazer smells funky and has huge shoulder pads. You can never find a fitting size especially if you are petite like me. We thought that after our music teacher retired, we would stop wearing them, but nope. It became tradition.

WE have to wear a white button up shirt with black pants (anything but jeans) and the guys have to wear a white shirt and black pants
