I've just witnessed the F1 race... and a sudden event requires a post to the main board.
Michael Schumacher blew his engine after his final pit stop, and did NOT finish the race. Fernando Alonso was in 2nd at the time, and MS has to concede the lead to him. Alonso won the race for Renault, and now leads the points by 10. It is almost IMPOSSIBLE for Schumacher to win the 2006 F1 title, unless he manages to win the Brazilian Grand Prix and Alonso fails to finish in the top 8 there.
