((Gah School sucks so much taking most of my time from the guild and RPs. I just read what happened with River. X-x))
The pack over the days had seemed to disband into there own territories. What had once been her fathers great dream had now become nothing more then great misery. Even the waterfalls had seamed to run dry with responce.
Runescape knew however that it was his fathers lack of attention that had really been what caused it to fall. If it wasn't for her mother everything would have collapsed. Though Diego tried his hardest to pull things together. He just wasn't the type to lead; not without love backing him. Without that he was no more then a mentally unstable puppy.
The fae's tears seamed to slip down her face as she knew she couldn't interfear with her fathers dream. It was his punishment to be alone. And though she loved him, this was not her pack. And inside she knew it never was.
Prehaps now as hard as it was she was leave him to himself. Prehaps he'd finally be able to pull himself together and be strong before everything around him collapsed. Maybe he could still save the pack, but Runescape would never know; she too was leaving like the others.
'Mother' She mouthed out. 'I'm comming to find you'. Another long stream of tears washed down her face.

Koenshan paced the lands, ready to follow River Except that Desert was asleep. He paused, catching a whiff of a scent that though was not familiar in itself happened to be similar to familiar scents. River & Diego's scents to be specific. One of the pups?
He had been instructed to watch for any others of the pack. Although River now insisted he think of them being equals it was not easy for the former scout. Koenshan came upon the younger female from behind, not yet seeing her tears. Drawing a deep breath he called out to her. "Hello."

Rune turned solomly seeing Koenshan. She really didn't know him to well much for the fact she avoided the packlands for the majority of her life. But her maw parted in a decently friendly smile trying to wash away the pain that seamed to dance all over her face.
'Mother is gone' She passed threw her mute lips. 'Mother-' She tried to speak out again but her lack of vocal cords cut her short of sounds again. Her head slunk downwards, her mother had been the only reason she stayed around. It was a fond attachment that she had with her, it was much different then the connection she really didn't have with her father. Prehaps this was due in fact that he really hadn't been there the first three months of her life. Or maybe from the fact that even when he was there he really wasn't there.
'Mother!' She called out again still saying nothing. Even though she knew the truth. Prehaps if only her mother heard her voice it would convince her to come back.
As she said it once again threw her quivering lips she couldn't hold back the flood of tears and began to cry.

He watched as the female attempted to communicate. Didn't River say one of the pups could not speak?
Then he was moved by her tears. He padded over to the juvenile, nuzzling her paternally. "There, there. Don't cry." There was definitely a family resemblance. "You're River & Diego's daughter... the one who cannot speak, aren't you?"
He was very glad now for that information. Koenshan did not know how he would have handled the situation without being forewarned.

Rune threw her tears nodded. It made her feel ashame she had actully broken down and cried like that. She was supposed to be the strong one. Her other siblings had seamed to slip mentally like her own father...and to show weakness ment she was slipping that way to. And yet she didn't reject the others tenderness. It seamed to make her feel better inwardly even if on the outside she was a weck.
'Mother...' The words trailed lightly threw her silent lips. It was no use, her mother was gone, and her father was to unstable to be there for her. She was alone. And with no voice...I'm as good as dead.

She could not speak... but Koenshan knew there was more to communication than speech alone. He was not very good at them, but he could stick to questions that only needed a yes or no answer.
"Do you know where Diego is?"

The fae shook her head. Unfortanly she didn't; her father was never around. And with the current events of River leaving, she doubted she'd ever see him again. For even if he was alive- he wasn't the type to stay alive. He was defintly a wolf that would do something stupid and submit to Omega again without question. If only I had a voice! She seamed to scream out mentally as if in some hopes somebody would hear her.

He had not expected her to know. The male's scent around the lands was old. stale. It saddened him, for he had seen great love between River & Diego when he first came to joing the pack. It seemed so long ago now...
"You have two sisters, don't you? Do you know where they are?"
It was not a trouble. Playing 20 questions with the mute female would pass the time until Desert awoke.

Runescape nodded yes to the first and no to the second. Her brother she knew was wandering around the pack someplace being a mental case much like her father...but for her sisters, that was a different story. Her green sister had a mind of her own and probally had started her own pack by now. And well the other- who knows. She had lost track of things long ago.
Rune too was becoming tired and wished to comunicate in other ways. She had often learned a few tricks from the crows that talked to the foxes. It wasn't as if they talked. But with a certian movement they were able to convey what they wanted. Almost a 'sign language'. Although she seriously doubted the other would understand anything she attempted it would at least give her practice for the real world.
With that she seamed to imply distance with her tail for 'where' though she couldn't quite convy 'is' She bent down low in a motherly way to imply the word 'mother' so in her own way asked "Where mother?"

That too, did not surprise him. Although, Koenshan had thought another of the females was the one River had mentioned might come with them. He racalled her worry for the mute female.
Watching her move, Koenshan tilts his head in confusion. He knows she is trying to communicate... but what?
"um... long? far? distance?" His dark brow furrowed. "Caring? Loving?... I'm sorry I don't understand."
The male sighed loudly, glancing away. "Perhaps your mother would know." Koenshan looks back at her, eyes gentle with concern. "Would you like to join Desert & I when we go to meet your mother?"

Though she couldn't communicate excatly what she wanted towards the other. Her goal had been met and she egarly swayed her head up and down to convey her pleasure in the situation. Eventully she'd get her body language to such a point at least one person would be able to understand her. 'Mother' She seamed to squeak almost excitedly like a small pup. She'd show her that she was able to take care of herself. Even with her disablity.

Koenshn smiled and nuzzled her gently, pleased they seemed to have some to some sort of an understanding. "Then perhaps you'd like to walk with me to see if Desert is awake?"
"Or are you hungry? I think there was a rabbit hole on the far side of the packlands that is occupied if you like."
