The reason that I gave there is that the fight hasn't technically started. I've done the same with most of the other fights where people make one post and then disappear... Though at request of closing, I close.

I thought the point of the time limit was to make sure we keep posting? As long as the post got there, I don't see what the ******** deal is. He in fact acknowledged that my post was there fourteen hours before he made that thread.This point is valid. The lock will be removed, though make sure to keep up on the posting.
