He did not dare to move nor breathe. He knew, in the books he had read as a child, that now the monster would appear if he dared to turn around. But he just couldn't stand here, with a monster behind him. He took a quick breath and turned around. He would have never have imagined he would be staring into his own eyes. The air was thick with tension, until two words ripped the silence appart: "Found you"

there ... standing ... his legs refusing to move for what felt like hours though in reality was only a few seconds ... he knew this was a form of evil but it was almost as if he were stuck looking into a mirror at his own reflection. the clothing the same ... hair ... even its breaths at the same pace. the being broke the pattern and reached its hand out while rearing back ... this of course triggered something inside of jack for he immediatly regained control of his legs and raced past the door and through the hallway only to his dismay to find in place of the door was solid wood ...

{hey i know your not supposed to post twice back 2 back but i am really anticipating this story so im gonna continue on with another paragraph if you guys dont mind }

He stood in disbelief staring at the wall as if searching every mere speck and ripple in the wood. The area appeared the same but seemingly darker ... there was a soft patter of footsteps and a slight breeze in the halway as he searched in dismay. He paused ... something was wrong ... he halted. and again he felt it, yes he knew it was real there was definatly a breeze in the hallway, which must mean there is some connection to the outdoors. the wind seemed to be coming from both sides of the hall. He looked towards the direction he last went through to see if the entityhe last encountered was approaching and once again to his surprize ... it was not the same as before ... the house was definatly changing ... and yet the soft footsteps echoed around him still distant but definatly getting louder with each second.

Suddenly, his vision of the house swirled before his eyes – the staircase coiled, the floorboards arched, the ceiling plunged, and the portico warped. It was too much. Jack became nauseous to the point of finally puking his innards. He then panted in horror and hauntingly screamed for help. But all of this proves to be futile for Jack seems to be cut off from the outside world right on the instance he stepped a foot in the house; just as how curious insects, after flitting near, get swallowed into their doom by a Venus fly trap.

Feeling helpless and finally accepting his fate, Jack thought no one can save him, not even his God.
