xDD I think they'd have priceless interaction. ^hemhem^ But actually, seeing how Toph's really been the only one until Aang to be O.K. w/the dude (welll, until he burned her pheetsies of course ^0^'''), it actually...kinda makes sense! =O;;
Still, I think with all the other juicy possible 'ships w/the emo kid, like Aanzu and Zutara, a more minor-major character like Toph, while awesome as hell, ain't gonna cut it with our buddies MikexBryan back in the office. Sadly. mad

[I hope I got their names right. xDD;;] Well, seeing how much of 'b***h mode' Katara goes into around Zuko, I don't see Zutara's chances being helped much lately. o3o And, I don't think Nickelodeon will do homosexual pairings (if by Aanzu you mean AangxZuko), although I'd love to see the Avatar and the Prince end up together. It'd be hilarious. Anywhoo, as far as I'm concerned, Toko has its chance boosted with the Western Air Temple episode. After the initial pain and shock of her feet being burned, Toph didn't seem as upset as one would expect. She knew it was an accident and forgave him easily. So, yeah, I think Toph and Zuko have a good chance. But, more than likely it won't work into a kid's show because of the age difference. *le sigh* If Mike and Brian want props, though, they'd SO make it happen. Since so many complain about Kataang being predictable, why not throw in an 'unpredictable' match-up in the form of Toko? XD

Purple dragon lady Otulissa Eruden Ki There's still Jin, though. XD Can you just see Jin and Toph fighting over Zuko? That's so funny. Jin, Toph, Katara, AND Mai.. xD;; LOL...maybe even Song. Or others. I'd count Katara out of the Zuko race. But still... Jin, Mai, and Song arguing over Zuko, and Toph arguing just to argue then winning. Then Zuko kissing her... heart I suddenly have inspiration for a fic. Look for it in the near future. On topic, Toko used to be the kind of thing where I went "Huh?" But after watching the latest episodes, I like this pairing. Maybe even more than Zutara... maybe not. I like them both the same.

Sierra_Lily On topic, Toko used to be the kind of thing where I went "Huh?" According to my friend, this was the reaction a lot of people gave when they first heard about Toko. But after thinking about it a little even before the recent episodes you kinda go, "Oh yeah, that might work a little bit."

I say I'd support the pairing. Toph was already one of my favorite female characters, but in recent episodes, she made me cheer. She's the only character who seems to be making her decisions with a level head in the Gaang. While romantically speaking, I couldn't see anything actually happening for a few years, I still think the pairing has more merit then some of the pairings Zuko gets stuck in.
However, I still firmly support Zuko./Sokka...Even if it creeps out my friends.

heart heart heart i would love it. not to say people star at his scare much, but i am sure he feels like people do. and it's also a sign of his judgement, of his disgrace from his father. Toph would be perfect. seeing though she would never see the scare and there for never be able to judge in on any level about it. also they are both moody, and they are both strong, and neither really takes lip from anyone. i could see him being very romantic with her smile awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww yay for Zuko smile

Recent leaked episodes put me in conflict. Though I have that awful feeling in my gut that Zuko will end up with Katara, I really pull for Mai after seeing Boiling Rock. Both of those notions are bad for a Toph/Zuko fangirl.

I really hope to see more interaction between Toph and Zuko in the show, mostly because Toph could completely own him. I can see him opening his mouth to shout at her and realising he's got nothing. I don't know what I think about them being together, but think that their conversations would be epic biggrin

Actually, I think the Kataang fandom would be alright with it if it meant Zuko wouldn't be after Katara anymore. Maiko fans on the other hand... But yea, it would have been funny since it would have thrown everyone through the loop. I just think it would have been adorable and sweet

Aww I think it'd be cute. Zuko would really be up a river attitude wise, though.
I think if I could see them both older (olderzukodroool) it would be easier to see a possible pairing XP

I'm really glad someone thought to put this pairing here. I'm a Zutara shipper, but I'm pretty open. I didn't really notice Toko as a pairing until after the series finale, but I think it would be really cute.
Plus, it's totally obvious that Kataang must be canon, so Zutara shippers are dreaming. [Yes, I just sort-of bashed myself.] But Toko would have had a chance if Maiko didn't randomly get introduced in the middle of the series. I think it would be super cute.
Face the facts; Zuko is the one guy who would look good with anyone from the series [except his sister o.o"] and Toph is the one girl who would look good with anyone, too. [I'm talking straight pairings.] So, it's a great match. Yes, people, despite the five year age gap.
So I think Toko would actually be really cute as an actual pairing, though most people write it off as a crack ship.
[Also, on a side note, I noticed all pairing names have the girl first except for Zutara. Weird....]
[On another side note, the best pairing of all time is Zuko x Me!!! ;D]
