* Rules of Absit Invidia, follow them. *

Rules-

1. ADHERE TO THE TOS.

This rule cannot be disobeyed or changed. The ToS is still in effect for all content within Absit Invidia, just as it is within the BC. It should be fairly easy to continue to follow this as well as the members have in the past.

2. READ THE FIRST POST.

Incredibly obvious rule. It's best for you to read the first post of a thread and get a general idea of the location. This should eliminate confusion for the players first visiting the thread.

- Furthermore, any notable changes to the thread in setting that is dramatic should be listed on the front page. It is the duty of the thread-creator to make sure the first page has a detailed and current description so that players can navigate properly. If your castle is ruins, make a note of it.

3. READ THE LAST POST.

Exactly the same purpose, have a feel for what is occuring and the effects of the current actions. You should be able to get a good grasp of what's occuring where from the last page of posts, if not the page before.

4. FIGHTS

Yeah, it happens. We all know the rules. Turn-based, don't GM, don't run people's reactions. This is seriously simple stuff. Fight, fight well, and if you have to run, call in some backup.

- That should cover the most basic of the rules. I'm not going to throw in all of TJ's introductions, quote towers, and other crap simply because I know AI's interested members will be intelligent enough to grasp the concept of 'Not being an idiot'.

IN ADDITION

This section of the guild has taken a new direction, and it's of my design. A lack of suggestions has led me to assume you guys want me to get something done, so something I will do. ABSIT INVIDIA WILL NOT FEATURE BC CHARACTERS. This will remain a core rule for all contexts and settings, for there will be no cameos.

Setting has been changed slightly, though the concept of territories will remain the same. Absit Invidia will feature a war, with access to both fighting and peace depending on the users preferences. Using a quest or mission-based system, characters in the AI world will be taking part to further or hinder the agendas of the opposing alliance.

The setting summary is this: In the Black Company realm, some few thousand years before it's conception there is a war that throws the lands into turmoil. The players will be representing the forces that combat this growing threat, and their victories and losses will judge the outcome of the war. A more detailed explanation is being written now.
