Love the series, and own all of Laurell K. Hamilton’s books. I can’t really say which is my favorite I love them all but I’m thinking it’s between Obsidian butterfly and Micah. I love Edward he’s by far my favorite character. Sociopaths are always fun. wink

BUT dont get me wrong i still love the books!! my favorite characters are: Jean-Claude, Zerbrowski, Jason, Micah, and altough you only see a little of them in the later books, Requiem, and Byron. SOOO FUNNY. has anyone ever read the other series?? The Merry Gentry Books?? they're good, but not as good. Anita was pretty cool in the beginning, but nowadays she seems so... ugh. And I'm really hating how slutty she's become, too. I'm not entirely up to date (the latest one I read was Cerulean Sins) so I'm not sure if I've yet to read about the last two. But Zerbrowski's a hard guy to hate. It's rather amusing to imagine him and Dolph working together... I think I might have read the first two of the Merry Gentry books. Methinks there's a recurring theme to her characters. Seems she's constantly making short, tough girls with special powers be the protagonist. And then it seems like Frost is similar to Asher and Jason to Rhys (to me at least). I don't think I like it as much as the Vampire Hunter series (maybe cause I have more of a fondness for vampires), but it's still a pretty good.

I havent been back on here in awhile but i take back what i said about Requiem. He shows up in the newer book and he's obnoxious. And i for sure agree with you about the characters being similar, they have certain personality traits that are a lot alike. The only thing ive begun to really dislike in the vampire novels though, is that its not about Anita being a vampire killer anymore...or even a necromancer, all she does is sleep with everyone and everything. And then everyone just stands around and talks all the time. I miss Edward, when he showed up you could expect some good action. UGH. Im about to read the newest book SOO hopefully its better.
