Well, because I'm officially a high school graduate now, my parents are gonna be buying me a camera for my grad present. Why a camera? Because ever since I've taken photography, I've realized how much I enjoy taking pictures of stuff. But, I've no camera of my own, and I don't know enough about them to know what to get. So I'm asking, can anyone here can help me out with choosing one?
Now let me explain what kindof camera I'm interested in. I want a digital camera that's above average, can take pictures fairly quickly, not too confusing to use, and that's under $400-$500 canadian.
I thank you all ahead of time. 3nodding

Well if you want that's going to last, you'll be spending around the $500 ball park (that's US currency for us)
If you go cheaper, you'll get cheaper. My aunt wanted a "cheap" digital camera around $300. That's what she got.....a cheap one indeed. Zoom feature is horrible, no picture tweaking, load times are horrible, and it even feels flimsy

Well, my parents can't afford a super-expensive camera. Though maybe I could get them to strech it near $500.....I might need to chip in though.
