Is one of those highly controversial books, isn't it? I mean, there's the issues in it (don't read this if you haven't read the book, by the way) with the Church and Jesus and everything, and then of course there are the codes and passwords and all of that. So my question is, what part of the book did you like most, and why? What things did you agree with? And did you enjoy the book anyway?
Personally, I fell in love with Dan Brown's style. I love that guy. heart Angels and Demons is also a very good book, too. But other than the characters, style, and plot, I don't really mind what's in it. Everyone has an opinion, and that's what fiction is for, right? And just the way it's convincing enough to make people angry at themselves for almopst believing...makes it so much better. He should nto be criticized, he should be praised for making such effort to research and make his story realistic.
so, any comments, people? (Be openminded, though.)

I agree SO much. I read The Da Vinci Code and honestly.. it IS believable. And the fact that he is able to change so many people's minds about that and convince them that he may have a point somewhere in his fiction and enrage them- that is a truly great author.
I enjoyed it exponentially as well. I just haven't gotten my hands on Angels and Demons yet. Silly school taking away from my reading time.

hehehe. I'm doing a project on it. >.< How easy will that be?
Mostly, it's a picture collage. I have robert and sohphie, robert and sophie, my man silas, mr. cripple, my man silas---with a gun sweatdrop , La Pyramide Inversee, the Mona Lisa in all her asexual glory, the last supper and the virtuvian man. I wonder if I should leave that one out...it's kinda too graphic for school (nudity and all, but hey, it's art.)
